As for Cheng Shao Sheng's mother, it's quite unfortunate that she only sees the seemingly unruly side of her only daughter while neglecting her innate potentials and gifts. Niao Niao is everything I want in a daughter. Assertive, sassy, confident and ingenious. It's disappointing her mother sees her as condescending. Will Niao Niao get into trouble in the future, YES! She's curious and a curious monkey always gets shot on the head. Niao Niao is not your regular type of submissive daughter. One who fancies household chores and the rest. She's a fixer, a no nonsense typa girl, one that returns gbas for gbos and fire for brimstone. She gives me so much joy especially that scene she shove that lousy girl aside at the lantern festival and proved her worth as a brilliant lass. I'm glad she has the support of her dad, brothers, aunt and her brewing boyfriend. I can't wait to see her break all the barricades that would come her way and fall in love with a General that will encourage and protect her the more.
