I find it intriguing. It depends on what you like. I absolutely love it. I always drop most Chinese movies I watch cos of weak and spineless plots but this one got me hooked. I started day before yesterday but I have binged all aired episodes. I'm in a dilemma at the moment. I should have waited for all episodes to air. Now, I'm restless.

I binged from episode 2- 9. I had so much on my plate_ work, projects, church programmes, etc. Will watch 10-14 tonight. It's almost midnight here in Nigeria. Thank God it's weekend. I have all time for myself.
I'm really chuffed with this drama. This is the second Chinese drama I have keenly followed this year, the first being Love Like The Galaxy. I dropped others cos they're probably not my genre or they aren't that realistic. Chinese Costume dramas are my forte.
I cried seeing my King, Xiao again back on the screen doing what he knows best. Gosh! He understood the assignment and hasn't gone beyond par so far. His acting is top notch and realistic.
Check out the scene where the Priest, his master at the behest of those six whatever lords told him to hand him a pen so that he could erase his mum's name from the ancestry records. That scene was epic and golden. The way his fist tightened and his Adam apple vibrated in anger or s it his mien? I screamed in glee. Xiao really finished work there.
I think I like Chong Ming too. There was this scene where he wanted to kill Zhu Yan and Shin Yi reasoned with him to shelve the idea on moral grounds. Chong Ming flickered his hand like the bird he is and said he had no emotions for human's plight. I laughed out loud too.
Zhu Yan's attitude towards Shin Yi nettled me at first. I don't like pestering those that don't care a hoot about me. However, I understood her reasons. Love! If you've ever loved purely, you'd forgive her. She's so immaculate and wise. While watching that bridge of trust scene, I cried. Her experiences were real and even the spirits agreed with her. I think that event would solidify her place in Shin Yi's heart.
Lemme stop here. Will come back tomorrow to rant happily. This drama de 'totori me,' gladdens my heart. I'm hooked mehn! Omo! We die here! Who deeeeeey beatheeee!
As for the antis rating down this drama, all of Una go see pepper. Wicked set of folks. Xiao Zhan go remain in Una face forever!

I can unmask them too. The are majorly fans of the other unfortunate guy. I'm glad everything they wished my King backfired. Lol. I always check out their views and likes on Weibo and giggle at how everything turned for good for Xiao. This is just the beginning. More pepper on the way.

Why don't you wait for the series to fully unpack. We are just into the series and negative opinions are flying around already. It's unfair. I hate injustice. It really breaks my heart seeing people suffer cos of the wickedness and egoistic tendencies of others. Just know that Xiao Zhan has written his name in gold. Nothing can fade it. Nothing today and not forever.

Won't save which drama? Drama that's shattering records. Even here in Nigeria, my circle is going gaga on the series. Dunno why Asians underrate themselves. Ever since I came in contact with Xiao Zhan via The Untamed, I fell deeply for him. Gosh! Such a benevolent and talented actor. It's cool for you to drop the series but can you please allow us watch in peace?
