Okay I just finished this. Honestly, it really isn't AS bad as how the other comments portrayed it (don't get me wrong, it wasn't a very good drama as well, the acting felt quite unnatural most of the times). I think the biggest mistake they made was coming in with high expectations (which I barely do if the rating is quite low). Was a nice way to pass the time and I enjoyed the side couples a lot (Bomb is by far my favourite character, very understanding and very realistic). Didn't really see the need of the twins but hey, that's just my opinion.
There was at least one scene where almost all the actors annoyed me but I didn't let that stop me from continuing. Overall, a 7.5/10 rating from me. (The NC scenes really were a cherry on top but that isn't the focus of this drama).
Enjoyed this so much!! Definitely made me have high expectations for the adapted series (with both seasons being a 10 from my side). Can't believe this was a short thesis film. They did so well!!
I watched this movie years ago. I remember looking up sad movies and had "Blue Valentine" recommended which I…
Omg I also went down the rabbit hole regarding Leslie's life and my heart sank when I found out he self exited. Definitely had to do more research on Wong Kar-Wai and his type of cinematography to understand the movie more and thus all the MLs and the director & screenwriter made me appreciate the movie a lot more than I initially did.
Just finished this and honestly, I'm glad I did not listen to the negative comments on here. Yes it was annoying at the start but eventually, when the plot thickens, the suspense just keeps you glued to the screen. I was on the edge of my seat for the entire drama!!
So sad there isn't a season 2 but I'll be watching the Japanese version to see if I can get some closure.
The ending felt so unfinished especially with the side character's plots but hey, I came here to pass the time and see MoonBin and I managed to get both of that so I'm happy (although the drama could've been better).
(Tod really is an incredible lover, you weren't lying there).

The whole movie was literally plot twist after plot twist.
So dark but so incredible. 10/10!
At least he won best director for this film.
