Ah this is not about what we are discussing. But this is honestly the first time i ever ever do this thibk of taling about such deep topics so im very proud of myself and hope this isnt an argument and we're just having a harmless debate . And also since you are the forst person i have spoken online like this Can we be friends ?

Most people do know that people's thoughts don't matter but knowing this doesn't stop anyone from feeling a situation way . And People aren't all the same or think the same way , just like how some people have low pain tolerance and others have a higher pain tolerance I believe the same in this situation and it's not surprising that she didn't talk about this with anyone. I think the way she handled the situation says a lot about her emotions She couldn't been too humiliated to talk about it with anyone . And also even if she did talk about this with someone there is still an emotional scar that she will carry with her . And let's not talk about Korea and their laws because from my point of view it's seems that they are sometimes very lenient to certain situations and As you said it's not certain that cyberbullying EVEN against public figures would be taken seriously and with public figures then defamation would be taken seriously but I don't know if it's the case with a non public figure . And being rational and emotions do not go together. Because who would just unalive themselves are past the point of rationality. And it's not only her "non existent reputation " that is tarnished but she is also being Bullied and harrassed (not taunting) . And in my opinion the "drama doesn't trivialize the true victim " . And It's not about if I do or don't take the drama seriously I just think you downplayed the seriousness of her suicide To you the ways she went about the situation is irrational or a misinterpretation but most people are irrational . I don't know if I'm getting my point across but you do have some points but your points speak on if a person thinks rationally or has self confidence or great self esteem .

The issue and why someone would unalive themselves isnt because of the deepfakes or videos but its the negative ,insulting comments about that person in video . What really killed the way everyone reacted.They bullied her and its worse because the video isn't real. And the way you done play the seriousness of losing her school reputation .For a teenager losing their reputation is a BIG deal infact anyone who loses their reputation would be deeply affected by that . They basically harrassed her for it . And your comment on the wrong point Even as you said everyone knows its fake why would they harass/bully her to that extend because of a fake videos. And its wasnt the deepfake that was the sole reason for unaliving herself but everything else that came after the video was released
