Yes, I’m super surprised……. Did you watch Nirvana in Fire? He looks like a baby Keroppi there 🤣, never…
I actually didn't but I have seen him in whirlwind girl and man did he grow up well. Its funny because I saw a couple episodes of the Long Ballad before dropping it and didn't really notice Wu lei even though he was a lead, but here? He practically swept me off my feet😂. I wasn't a fan before, but im definitely one now!

I really hope that he and Zhao Lusi do another drama together in the future, preferably a modern romance, but thats just my wishful thinking🥲

Just finished watching it but it was filled with classic shoujo manga-ish tropes. It wasn't completely terrible but there really wasn't anything worth writing home about. The acting could also use a lot of work. Ukisho Hidaka doesn't have much acting experience and it kinda shows with his line delivery. His voice tended to be monotone and had no inflection in a lot of his scenes. Shiraishi Sei did a good job of portraying Tsukasa though and while Hasebe was a creepy ass character, his actor did a good job of showing that. Id probably rate this a 5.5/10 stars and wouldnt rewatch it.

I really love how human all of the characters appear in this drama because they all have their own flaws and learn to grow as people. I love how Fang xin transforms from a pampered princess into a strong and assertive woman who learns to make her own decisions and protect herself and while I disapproved of Xia Mengs lie I understood why she made that choice. I will say the one character I find it hard to sympathize with is Liu Jing. I related with her in the beginning but the way she dealt with Song Chao and Shan mu was so infuriating. Song Chao honestly deserved better. Also I hated her parents (especially her mom) but I cant even fault them for being against her opening a restaurant. I understand what the drama was trying to convey but it just seems a little farfetched to me especially during a pandemic. The whole restaurant storyline is honestly so boring and exhausting that I just skipped through most of those parts. Liu Jing is probably my one big gripe with an otherwise fantasic show.

I thought this movie was going to be boring at first but I was proven wrong! I thought the chemistry between the two were great and everything just felt so domestic and cute that it really just made me jealous. I know that I'll definitely be coming back to this movie ^^

There's so much second lead syndrome here. I love Kento and everything but why couldn't it be Hiromitsu-kun!?

Honestly I'm not very excited for this movie. Gintama is probably my favorite anime and it'd be really sad for me if they butchered this like they have for many other animes. One of the reasons besides the hilarious jokes that Gintama is so popular is the voice actors or seiyuus. Seiyuus like Sugita Tomokazu and Kugimiya Rie are part of the reason why the jokes are always so funny. Without them voicing the characters, it wouldnt really feel like the Gintama we all know and love. With that said I'm really interested as to who they'll cast for Kagura and Sougo. I don't hate their casting choice for Gintoki but I don't really love it either. Either we'll only really be able to tell when the movie comes out so I shouldn't be judging it just yet.
