If seems this drama soley made to promote 2ml. They put so much efforts in writing that character but leaves ML character with just basics. Literally zero efforts.
Storyline too, really not that interesting. They didn't establish FL character well, it feels like all over the place.
I saw clear cut love story btw FL and 2ML but where is love story btw ML and FL. It was like 99% ML being in love with her while FL roam around with 2ML and barely put any efforts to win ML love. In the end, we have to believe she only loves ML but not 2ML. She definitely had a thing for 2ML or He is just her Toyboy?.
In her previous drama too, FL played same type of character with slight changes. In that drama also her husband cheated on her and she got another man who is ready to sacrifice anything for her. Even in this drama, she has another man waiting and ready to do anything for her.
Why FLs in kdramas has never has to do any other hardwork to find her Second Love. Ready made men always available for them.
FL with relationship failure and ML who is in love with her for years ready to give her new life. Literally theses every drama follows the same pattern. I saw dozens of dramas like this in 2024.

I don't think there will be anything additional for ml personality. He is plain and devoted. I don't think drama will explore his not so good side or grey shades.
Its clearly appears as FL centred storyline. Everything about her and her family.
Why 20 eps?. It's time to move on from this drama. I think 6 eps is more than enough to give it a chance. I thought I'm going to give it a chance for another 2 eps but this is it.
Kdramas loves to trash husband character once he cheats on FL. They can allow him be a good father despite not being an understanding husband but nope they have to trash him in every way possible as he committed enternal crime.
I don't even want to talk about ML character. Why he wastes his life on person?. What if she has happy married life, will he stay single forever forever admiring from distance?.
If he still hangs on her for all these years without giving himself second chance with someone else, it means something wrong with his personality.
Ofc drama won't explore his darker side and present him as pure hearted person but it in reality those kind of personalities are really dangerous. They starts to behave completely once they get what they wanted.
Male characters are not interesting at all in this drama. They're either sugar-coated or over extragated. I'm not saying those kind of personalities doesn't exist but still.
So far male characters looks like a toy boys in a war btw female characters.
I just hope ML is not single since birth and has atleast one relationship experience. Come on, give more insights of his life like work related and love relationships.

This drama will be more meaningful and believable, if ML doesn't stay in love with FL since childhood and has his own 1 or 2 relationship experiences just like FL and reconnect with FL and actually fall in love with adult version of her based on her personality.
Otherwise everything looks like a nice little fantasy.
Female audience always gets these kind of ML characters but Male audience also always gets these kind of FL characters. Why it won't change and get reversed for once?.
