At first, I thought so too, but the way Soon Deok kept mentioning her 'brother' to the point that Jung Woo was a bit jealous got me thinking what she actually meant was her late husband. The romantic lantern festival and the atmosphere of visitors looking to matchmake themselves or their children definitely brought her memories back to her beloved husband and their sweet marriage. I could even guess that her wish when she released the lantern had anything to do with her husband, you could tell how she was lost in thoughts watching the soaring lantern.
