The length of the series shouldn't intimidate you since you have watched a few costume C-dramas with 49+ episodes…
Hahaha... in that case, need self-control. Or, you just watch currently airing dramas. Usually, they put several initial episodes (around 6) to get people hooked, then two episodes a day with some days off so we can catch up. The downside is, the ending may not satisfy you. Usually, wuxia and historical fiction dramas have happy ending for the main couple with a bunch of deaths. For xianxia tho, they usually end with the deaths of the main characters (either ML or FL) and the possibility of a reunion after the time jump.
I'm worried about the noble idiocy trope in the last 2 episodes next week... my theory below (spoiler)
So Ji Eum wants to save her niece Aegyeong, her sister Cho Won, and her lover Seo Ha. She will ask Min Ki what to do. As happened with Ha Na, Ji Eum has to leave the people connected to her past life, too, so their life is safe (no close/intimate connections anymore). Remember Ha Na doesn't tell Seo Ha she is his mom reincarnated. She just gave him a turtle toy and left.
I don't think past Seo Ha kills the past Cho Won. We only see him carrying a bloody sword. It must be her misunderstanding that she stabbed past Seo Ha on the bridge. I suspected the past Min Ki is the mastermind. He is the one with the shaman bells, too. He's probably the high shaman priest with magical power in the first life who was able to put curses on people. From the convo with Ha Na, it seems Min Ki harbors an obsession with past Ji Eum, and after she leaves Seo Ha, he will get a chance to pursue her.
The 'past connection must die' curse lays on the shaman bells/Min Ki. Once it's destroyed or Min Ki dies, Ji Eum will be free from the curse and reunites with her loved ones. Happy ending (hopefully).
When will remaining episodes be released? Will we able to watch all of them at once?
As per the new calendar, we can see Ep 33 and 34 on 17-7, then the remaining 6 are express package to buy, also on 17-7. https://i.mydramalist.com/RB0jwr_3f.jpg
It started with a bang, but after 3 episodes 4 we're back in conventional drama-land with all the boring worn-out…
I agree with @Alysha Johnson above. The drama started when the couple is already married for 3 years. Of course, we want to know how they met, thus their love story. Especially since in the drama synopsis it's said "their passionate marriage", we watchers are curious, too. The last episodes not only about their romance but also her connection with YLBL.
This drama has 3 directors. I wonder how that's gonna pan out. I know its not uncommon for Western shows to have…
It seems Director Zeng Qing Jie likes directing short dramas, probably he also wrote their scripts. More freedom in creation and not much pressure from the production co, shareholders, and public. Also, the censorship short dramas is not as tight as mainstream dramas. He won't waste time filming scenes that later are butchered by NRTA.

I will say the same thing too if I get a chance to admire Xiao Zhan from closeup like she did. 😍😍😍
Nice ending! 😊
I doubt it the guy who gives the ball is Luger, tho. It seems like a copycat.
"Put down your sword, my dear lady!"
"Drop the show, my dear man!"
Makes me wanna rewatch their drama again... 😍😍😍
