Ok... I was confused with the current synopsis too, until I found the one that kinda make sense from Chinesedrama.info:
Shan Liang, the founder of a well-known dating software, and Wen Rou, a designer of high-heeled shoes encounter big blows in their romance. In the original story of the knight and the princess finding happiness ever after, was it true love or was it full of lies? Until everyone's patience runs out, can there be real connection in the world of adults?
In everyone's eyes, Shan Liang (Yu Menglong) and Wen Rou (Song Yanfei) are the perfect match in talents and looks. Alas, Wen Rou's public persona as a socialite comes crashing down after marriage just like Cinderella who was thrown back to her original form. Even so, Shan Liang refuses to give up on her. In their inseparable marriage, the two learn to be honest with each other.
I heard this was a tragedy...hope it's not if it is then it goes the route of (stop reading if u dont wanna know)FL…
I read the comments down below about the novel's ending that also mentioned it will be a tragedy too. I better wait until the drama ends if they changed the ending. I don't trust Cdramas with their endings nowadays...
I was wondering that myself so I looked it up. Noble (yanban) widows couldn't remarry or they would be cast out…
He did. I'm glad she saved the queen and her baby, too. So the whole nation basically has nothing else to say. Poong's facial expression when he announces Seo as "unwed" hahaha.
Hahaha, cameo Woo Do Hwan. He will be in the upcoming drama Joseon Lawyer, that's why Baek said he will quit being a physician and becomes a lawyer instead. Baek Gwang Hyun is actually a real Korean physician figure from the 17th century. Reenactment of Ep 1 S 1 (when Poong met Physician Gye) when Poong meets Baek, calling him "dunce" too, lol.
ok now since it already completed i have few question what ep the ml and fl get together happy end or no ?
Actually, ML and FL already have feelings for each other but she can't remarry cos she's a widow (their belief system doesn't allow it). But in the end (last episode), the King annuls her first marriage so she's single again and marries ML. So happy ending!
