I agree with you. I see SK makes more and more dramas that are less than 16 episodes, and it seems like the stories of shorter dramas are more to-the-point without fillers.

FL is betrothed to SML, who is ML's best friend since they were little. Yeah, I hate this kinda love triangle setup. But now FL just wants her name to be cleared and investigates the massacre so she won't think about her fiancee at all.

No, he's not crippled. It's just some rumors and scare tactics organized by the villain who wants to take over his power to his nephew (the little prince). I think ML just needs physical therapy, exercising his right arm, and getting over the inferiority and misunderstanding that he's cursed by the ghost.

The thing is, the ML here is kinda cringey. The nephew is only several-month-old baby. FL marries ML to get hold of her nephew since FL's sister (ML's deceased wife) asks her not for ML's mom to get the baby. But after just a few episodes it seems ML already starts having a feeling for FL. Like... your wife just died a few months back and you already moved on and liking your wife's sister??? If the story is changed to several years have passed I can accept that ML should've moved on after his wife's death.

After watching 2/3 of the drama I just realized something...

Right... it's rare for me to like FLs, since sometimes they're badly written and dramatic, like childish, screams a lot, eats a lot (but never gets fat), messy, bad clothing, gets drunk, hits MLs, etc, lol.
