Year 2022 is the year I'm exploring more on C-drama. `You are My Glory` was my first c-drama (iirc). From there…
In 2019 I started with K-dramas but I guess there are so many Cdramas being released I ended up watching C-dramas the most for 3 years in a row. I even watched them just because C-actors X or C-actress Y now, lol.
Great article! Here's mine:1. 232. South Korea3. Romance4. Red Sleeve, Bad Buddy, Twenty Five Twenty One and Alchemy…
#7 regarding movies I recommended a 2022 Cmovie Lighting Up The Stars (it used to be named below since it depicts a found family of some people who are in the funeral business): https://kisskh.at/701933-funeral-family It won several awards in a China awards event (I think I commented under the movie page what awards won). I don't think you have watched it, but think you will like it ;D
So all upcoming Wang You Shuo's projects will be costume/historical/period dramas... I will follow whichever his characters will go to... mortal realm, heavenly realm, demonic realm, any realm... lol
Saw him say goodbye to his character on Weibo and show his ending scene. What a tortured soul. I was glad he left.…
When I watched Young Blood, I actually like all 6 characters because they are so different to each other but compliment each other. So WYS was not stood out there than like him being He Na in this drama. YB also has a nice wuxia fighting scenes which I enjoyed so I watch those scenes closely. So YB 2 will come soon, eh?
He Na changes the xianxia dramas stereotype that demon kings/lords are supposed to be creepy and meany... sometimes I think he is more angelic that the fairies in this drama
I think its not really about showing any scene but particular ones, concerning women. Its a theory - an ugly one,…
I see this a lot in Cdramas. Men are the initiators of romance/intimate act/sex and women are only passive and have unrequited feelings until men act. Probably in the eyes of the censorship/C government, proactive women are considered Western influence, something they shun. The horny women are the villains.
Happy ending but too rushed. They took too long to solve the identity of the psychopath, and squeezing in only…
I agree with the poster above. They built up the story with a bunch of suspects to guess till the last episode. So I don't think solving the identity of the psychopath takes too long. With the last convo in the hospital we can guess the ending. But I also agree with you to have a better scene with the couple in the end.
