The Silence of the Monster is not bad for a title, especially for a romance Cdrama where all titles seem to have either 'romance' or 'love' words. But Imo they tried to ride the popularity of The Silence of the Lambs. They should just keep the native title The Lonely Beast instead.
So when finally by the end of the drama one by one gets his match, then there are no more animals in the jungle... Might as well they clear it up for a housing development... or a mall... ;P
Cho Na I have a question. Is meteor garden (2018) has 50 episodes or 49 episodes? I am currently watching this…
The 50 versions said on MDL is because when it's aired on HunanTV it was 50 (TV version) cos it's longer with commercials but the episode duration is shorter. As long as the episode ends with the couple and Hua Ze Lei in London listening to the original singer of Meteor Garden singing on the street, then that's the end!
To anyone who is watching or has read the second part of the novel: based on the cast list so now Jozuka works together with Amano or Chiwasaki? Kogetsu is still in the second part?
This is another c-drama sponsored by the fire department! It's not quite as bad as Be My Princess, where they…
Not only candles, they love putting string lights on their homes, too! And fireworks! From their dramas... it seems Chinese people are afraid of darkness...
Hmm, how did the article show up on your feed, since it was from 1+ years ago? Anyways, I'm glad you watched it…
You meant my profile page? Actually it's just for practical reasons. I put links that I need and organized article links cos sometimes I have to go back to look up old articles ;D
This movie won the 35th Golden Rooster Awards in categories: Best Actor (Zhu Yi Long), and Best Directorial Debut: Liu Jiang Jiang. Nominated: Best Picture, Best Actress (Yang En You), Best Editing, Best Cinematography, and Best Sound Recording.
Zhu Yi Long's acting is worth an award! And I can't believe this is the first work of the director and he won right off the bat! Little Yang En You is nominated, although losing against a veteran actress is understandable. She was only 8 years old at the time of the filming!
Well! I'm happy to see this review pop up on my feed .... This is one of my absolute faves in Cdramaland ... now…

Haha... I don't remember now how I could compare the SML to Hu Yi Tian. Unfortunately, I haven't seen the actor (Wu Hao Ze) again in any drama to be able to compare them again.

FYI, I think they'll make a sequel or something like that:
