My guess was 2FL almost dying (most likely protecting the 2ML)… then the second couple coming truly back together…
I think so too, but unless he becomes the master/ruler of his sect that he can change the law, they will always be bound of the rules set by his parents. So let them separate for a while. Besides, it's not like she has to depend her life on him. She can still make a living as popular novelist... 😂😂😂
Me too! I was just about to post asking for others to explain. IQIYI has the subtitles on the last ferry scene…
Yeah, Sad ending like she dies, then he grows old and dies (or kills himself like Hard to Find), and that dream family that we can assume them reuniting again in the next life, is better than him becoming a walking corpse, an empty shell like you wrote... 😭😭😭
my heart sank while watching the 1st 5 mins becos it's another travel into novel type of story BUT I like the…
Since you watched the first 5 minutes of Ep 1, you noticed there is a guy she saved when the banner fell. I bet that's the ML... So they will meet again in modern days...
Now with the event on Ep 13, I am more interested in knowing what will become to the second couple. The main couple is lovey-dovey now but if her memory is not coming back soon I will be bored...

Thank you for the explanation. So basically he doesn't want to die. That's why he becomes the ferryman who brings dead souls to cross the river. He doesn't want to drink oblivious tea, and forget about Xiaoman, so he can move on and be reincarnated. This ending is even more bitter than a sad ending. It's like a legend/myth.
I might missed it: Does anyone know how Jin Bai Wan lost her martial arts skills? Was she hurt or poisoned? I mean memory loss won't make you lose your subconscious reflects.
Can someone explain what is the synopsis of this drama? The description of story is a bit confusing
I know... I was confused too when I first read it. Let me rewrite it for you so it's understandable. So basically, the ML Yun Mu, a prince, is deaf. He reads lips movements, but nobody knows the secret but his loyal attendant. He loves music since his mother the Empress is a renowned musician/songwriter. When he went to a place to recruit musicians, he could hear the song played by the FL Su Ruo Fei. So he made some agreements with her in exchange for her to be his personal musician. And as usual trope in gazillion dramas, they actually met each other when they were little but forgot each other. There is this lighted jasper stone that connects them with their past.
Can someone who has seen the first episode tell me if the drama is good?
Seen the first episode... it's funny. There are some sad/serious elements on how people age especially for the first ML Sun Jae (cos he used to be a big actor) but the aging issues are brought up in humorous ways. Also seems like there is a mystery element, and supernatural as well cos Sun Jae can communicate with Sophie, the dog.
Trope galore... but cute nonetheless... the FL's costumes are so pretty... Great chemistry... That plot twist about their backgrounds is interesting... like the second couple... ML's sis is so badass...
Yeah... that YouTuber girl is obnoxious...
