Not really, imo. FL wakes up in modern day but ML is only her boss. Her manhua becomes popular and she is asked to make a sequel with the same setting. When she starts the sequel the scene goes back to the ancient time when ML wakes up and and recognizes her. The end. Their romance only stays in manhua, sadly.

Ye Ran is either Xiang Ting Dong's twin brother or a cousin. Up till Ep 4 it's revealed that Ye Ran's mother is Grandma Xiang's daughter but was kicked out when she was young. Not sure if Xiang Ting Dong is also her son but the family picked only one boy or not, we'll see later.
