I haven't seen their interviews (neither of any actor interview) but I think they have to take their chances with…
I watched the first part of the Drama for All series: Journey of Memories. It's a good one portraying how to care for a blind person with just 2 episodes. I put Super Man in my PTW, planned to watch it this weekend. I read 2 new reviews on it. Did you watch it? Is it subbed already?
Everyone here is amazing. However, I could not help but choose Mew(6), Singto(5) and Krist(3) as my top three…
I haven't seen their interviews (neither of any actor interview) but I think they have to take their chances with the roles/shows given to the betterment of their careers since seems the competition of BL actors is pretty tough in Thailand ;D
The rest are not familiar to me either but people mentioned they are BL actors which I do see as having more active…
I agree with you, lot of times for CH3 I watched raw version with episode summary from thairath. Mainly like dramas by my favorite actress Ice Preechaya
The likes on MDL: Mark Prin 1262+, Nadech 778+, James Ji 627+, Great Warintorn 320+What happened? This is my theory:…
it's good to hear, though I assume they're subbed by Netflix not by CH3? Cos if CH3 subs their dramas, they would've put the subs in their official YT channel
As opposed to hearts would d list look very diff if it is based off Stars Leaderboard?
While writing this article, I actually discussed the Stars Leaderboard (SL) influence on these actors versus hearts/likes with an editor. At that time, the new feature was just launched for several days. I was told it may take several weeks to know the significant impact of the actor's popularity. In some comments below, some questioning why PP and Bilkin, who both are placed high in the SL and also got famous playing BL dramas same as 8 of these 10 actors, are not in the list. In my opinion, the SL ranking system is more subjective compares to hearts/likes system. I'll give you an example: A sends 80 flowers a day only to Actor X. In 5 days Actor X gets 400 flowers from A only. Meanwhile, it takes 400 people to give 400 hearts to another actor Y. We cannot give more than 1 heart. Which one is more subjective?
I have watched lot of lakorns , except Mike n Puke don’t remember seeing other actors who are in this list.…
The likes on MDL: Mark Prin 1262+, Nadech 778+, James Ji 627+, Great Warintorn 320+ What happened? This is my theory: All actors you mentioned are Channel 3 actors. Ch3 doesn't bother to officially sub their lakorns since their target market is domestic consumption, despite of their lakorns also got famous outside Thailand. The lakorn fansubbers have to go tiptoe around subbing their dramas and are short-lived too, got tired of their hardworks being stolen by illegal sites. So, how can MDL community, that is international, know and love them if we don't understand Thai language and have difficulty finding the subs of Ch3 dramas? On the contrary, other actors listed here besides Mike and Push are or were GMMTV actors that officially provides (at least) English subs of its dramas.
It says FL is older than ML, but in real life the actor is 1 year older than the actress. It's just the actress is dolled up with a bunch of makeup to make her looks older ;D
I was surprised when I didn't spot Nadech Kugimiya (although I'm not a fan) but I thought he was really popular…
I thought so too especially he is with Yaya. But BL actors are more popular on MDL ;D. I'm actually curious how the popularity of the actors in their home country, if BL actors more popular in Thailand or vice versa. Anyways, I think making a list of the female version will overlap with the actresses' UFG articles. There is already one for Yaya. Today an UFG on Kim. Someone is writing for Kao. Another one is claimed for Bifern.
Bright Vachirawit is #1 in my personal list. I love him so much and I think he's very talented. Can't fait for…
Me too waiting for F4 Thailand. I have watched other BOF version (but not the Taiwanese one) so I am curious to see how Thai remade this. Last time I heard it was projected to come out on August but the filming got delayed due to Covid.
