Although I don't read them but I always read the comments on original works when I watched the adapted dramas to find out what the outcomes are. A lot of times I was disappointed that the outcome or characterization is not like the ones depicted in their original works and I almost found myself wondering how in the world the drama production team changed the characterization/outcome that are wonderfully shaped by the authors!
