Nice list! Some news today: Yamashita Tomohisa will be in a new drama... based on the manga 'Drops of God'. Fun…
Did you or someone add it to the MDL database? Cos I haven't seen the info yet, I only saw the one you mentioned with Kame. Is it supposed to be for 2022? Yeah, Mackenyu... where is he? I just saw him in the last installment of Rurouni Kenshin
Sato Takeru is my crush, fun fact I thought him and Yamashita Tomohisa were taller than they are (not that it matters).I…
Sowry... When I put in their heights I didn't mean to compare with others, it seems like it's just one of the info from actors' bio. Kento is the youngest of the lot. I started watching him in Todome no Kiss (and its sequel Todome Todome no Parallel) cos it's considered popular. But I think his international popularity surge is from Alice in Borderland.
True... a lot of times when I looked up the works of Japanese actors, I saw many of them have acted in at least…
Probably you should write an article with title "The Influence of Kamen Rider series on Japanese actors popularity" to introduce the kamen rider series to ignorant people like us ;D
Awesome list! I love all these actors. You missed one of my fav's, Suda Masaki...He is in everything. Love him.…
"I would watch Shun open a bag of chips." LMAO... what a funny comment! Yeah, I think Jun is the best Male Lead in HYD franchise so far! (I didn't watch the Taiwanese one tho) But who is Nino(miya) Kazanari?
ALL THESE PEOPLE NOT ADDING THE TRUE REASON SOME OF THESE ACTORS ARE POPULARKAMEN RIDER
True... a lot of times when I looked up the works of Japanese actors, I saw many of them have acted in at least one Kamen Rider series... the actresses too ;D
The fact thst i started in Japan my adventure in dramaland but now i don't know a thing about it left me 😱…
Yeah, it's hard to watch if we also have to learn about the subbed language too (like English). I got to know a bit Indonesian watching doramas with Indo subs, lol!
Give HYD a try... I swear it's different than BOF... I watched both ;DActually in the past MDLers made like 3…
Who's the Queen OP? I agree 100% with the adaptations. Yeah, I think in general most adaptation from comics or novels can be upsetting. Although I don't read them but I always read the comments on original works when I watched the adapted dramas to find out what the outcomes are. A lot of times I was disappointed that the outcome or characterization is not like the ones depicted in their original works and I almost found myself wondering how in the world the drama production team changed the characterization/outcome that are wonderfully shaped by the authors!
After the special I watched with him that opened the door into dorama land, it was a pleasant surprise seeing him again in Tengoku to Jigoku: Psychona Futari! He's so funny there!
