I know right! The last episode they tried to put everything in to make closures with all characters, probably should've been 2 episodes. But it seems nowadays in dramas quite common with rushed endings, probably due to the pandemic they have to finish filming quickly.

For the Harry Potter remake: I know right! Even the writer added some self-made beard for the Japanese ones who casted as Dumbledore and Hagrid, it was so hilarious!!1
For BoH: Yeah I heard that people complain about the drama. It has been in my PTW for a while but since it's not a 2020 or 2021 drama I don't put as priority. Should I watch it first to see the characterization? Or it doesn't completely follow the manhwa? Give me the link for the manhwa then ;D

Since there is already The Bride of Habaek with Korean cast, if you want to make it xianxia better use Chinese cast entirely. Say your title can be "If 'Bride of Water God' Be Made a Xianxia C-Drama". Unfortunately I haven't seen the Bride of Habaek neither read the manhwa to cast anyone. Why don't cast actors that close to the drawing character or even the Korean actors? Or the characteristics of the characters? With C actors in historical drama costume.

There are two past articles that I love a lot but didn't put them in this series due to topics like this are not unique: What If [X country series] Is Made to [Y country drama]. But these 2 articles are Harry Potter with Japanese and Korean remakes and dang the resemblance are so hilarious. The writer is observant enough to detect the similarities though Harry Potter cast are European looking and picked Asian cast!

Mind you though, these articles are written way back then in 2012-2013, so the chosen cast are already adults now.

That's because probably I am with Chrissy Anne are the only ones who announcing what we do, but others just go straight to the editors or even just submit the articles without telling us ;D. Cos I also saw other articles that are not in the MDL article topic thread.
Probably for Miles Wei article you can put screenshots/GIFs with his roles in dramas, particularly the ones that show his acting skills (for ex: facial expressions).
For Bride of the Water God manhwa: don't they already finish it? Isn't that Kdrama is based on that? Or is this another one?

I agree with your suggestion, honestly I will just watch it for Song Joong Ki and Oc Taec Yeon, if I like the ending (I only watch when it's completely subbed for binging). No pre-hopes or overhyping. Regarding the rest (story, twist, action, cinematography etc etc) it will reveal in my rating later.

Yeah you're right! The article is made way back then in 2013! Someone needs to make another article like that, also with Cdramas where they are good martial arts action.

I think you also need to contact an editor for an advice (Ceki will do since she's an editor and also wrote an interview article), because MDL may have some restrictions. For example if you want to interview a subber. Although there is an article interviewing a Japanese-English fan subber, in fact it was written by Admin Skye himself, but now MDL is careful with unofficial sites. Last time when I wrote recap article for Perfect and Casual I put a link of the initial fansubber's website who subbed the drama, but it was deleted when the article is published, since it was not the official site where to watch (which is a paid subsription).

The second interview article link is written by Ceki who is also a MDL editor. Maybe you can ask her opinion from her POV as an editor POV. The first interview article link is written by real_Mokona who has made articles using survey questions. Maybe she can share sources where to get questions. Ankita who wrote this article has given me her consent, but she's not active everyday in MDL, may take sometime for her to reply.

Probably because I watched too many Chinese youth/school romance in the past that I got tired from Chinese censorship for the romance part (no kiss if the actors are under 18 or school setting). This drama actually has a BTS scene with another kissing scene besides at the cinema, but I don't know the link only read it in the page comment. Either it was cut thru editing or censor. Not too long ago I watched a Kdrama where the leads have passionate kisses and sleep together, and I was like... what??? they did that??? lol... too long used to conservative Cdramas already.
