I think because S2 is more family oriented than S1 is more romance oriented. Also in S2 they emphasize the detective girl story line that I don't really like. But it's the main plot based on the third novel ;D

I watched it when it was airing too since I planned to write on this drama (usually I waited till completely subbed so I can binge-watch it). But S2 finished nicely, no cliffhanger, you don't know if it's cut or now. Unlike many Cdramas I watched, lol.

Lol, I'm surprised myself I wrote an article about it too, lol. I think because the series is so unique. Once in a while I try to find dramas that are different than the usual I watch, so I won't get bored in dramaland ;D

Yes it seems it's a good pick for New Year's eve. I binge-watched the first season in 1 day (on a weekend) since I only found out when S2 started. For S2 I watched when it was currently airing.
