The Legends is my first long C-historical drama I challenged myself to watch, and since then I am more and more in ease watching long C-historicals (50+ episodes or with nowadays SARFT limit 40+ episodes), at least I picked one to watch monthly. My memorable scenes are: Zhao Yao with long trail of bright red robe walking towards her throne during coronation, cute Mo Qing with demon mark on his cheek ( I though Xu Kai is cuter as Mo Qing than as Li Chen Lan), and shoulder naked long-haired Jiang Wu at his birth ;D

No wonder the writing of this drama is such a mess with unexplained things here and there... they hired five screenwriters to write the plot (see source)!!! This is the problem when a drama is not based on a novel or a comic, there is no smooth flow of one whole story!

Thanks for your explanation. I noted it down and would try your tips next time when I ran into similar problem on Firefox. I managed to watch Mute and another drama with Viki by switching the browser to Microsoft Edge (I watch on PC with Windows 10). So I assume it was just the browser problem.

I tried to watch this franchise: the Korean and the Taiwanese versions, and only Ep 1 for each I felt bored already. Probably I'm not into office romance? Though I watched lots of office romance. Don't make me start watching the Chinese or the Thai ones cos usually C-dramas and Thai dramas tend to be draggy. I saw this Japanese version is the shortest and got the highest rating compares to the other remakes. What is your take?

Thanks! It's not region restriction. I just found out the problem. I watch dramas on PC using Firefox as my browser. It apparently has an ad blocker that Viki hates, but I don't know how to turn it off. So I just use another browser to watch this one.

no LCL does not like QZY. By the end LCL either dies or in the afterlife state (I don't remember anymore) and he needs purification to go back. LZY accompanies him in meditation. So basically they both withdraw from the world, and gave the leadership to QZY, because she's close and loyal to them.

I think there is a reason for him doing that, some secrets to be revealed as per comments below. Remember his has a gene of his father. Besides, some scenes were cut so we may miss some things there.
