Cho Na

Thank you for your meticulous review. I have seen more and more dramas ROMANTICIZING MENTAL HEALTH ISSUES. Unfortunately, this over-rated drama seems is one of them. I'm so bummed cos I planned to make IOTNBO as my 1-year MDL anniversary drama. I actually enjoyed the patients, OJS's acting, and the brothers' interaction. But I had to drop it. Besides, it's boring and I found the FL is somewhat mean (without proper redemption which is professional help)
PS. Professionally, I took care of patients with mental health issues in the past.

thank you!

Nice journey... you will try and discover more and more in dramaland in the future. Good luck!

I thought Aek likes Fah... now he likes Narin?

The two things I would love to try or have more of them are running and home cooking. With the COVID19 quarantine I have sat too much on the couch watching dramas while munching snacks instead of doing some exercise and cook healthy meals. But again... do you think that the time needed for running (for exercise) and cooking will take times away from watching dramas??? LOL

Just finished it. Thank you so much for the subbing. Hopefully you will sub other doramas in the future too!

where can I watch this with English sub? TIA

Anyone knows how many episode this will be? MDL put 14 but the subber put 19. TIA

I just finished watching this. I have not watched JITP. Worthy watching? Maybe, if:
- you like romcoms
- you like palace politics
- you don't mind bitchy females (not the main FL but the rest female cast)
- you don't mind seeing half-bald guys (it's in their fashion style in that dynasty)
- you don't mind with abrupt ending
- you don't mind modern stuff fused into supposedly ancient culture

Having 2 of my fave actors in this drama, it has been in my PTW list since the airing date was set, I'm waiting this to finish and completely subbed as usual. I like that Blitz picking this up, they are good in explaining Japanese culture and language idioms to international viewers

yes, set the autoplay in Youtube to watch it.

You're right! sorry I didn't check it cos I watched episode by episode with auto-run then when I was in the final episode I saw that compilation

LOL I read the manga just curious how it will turn out for S3, cos waiting till possibly 2021 will be too long for me

She is one of them. But since you're asking about Female Lead and Male Lead seems in terms of romance. So, the way how the drama presenting their characters, Ben and Fah is the main OTP.

Your article has a great visual and is well-written, keep up with writing on Thai lakorns.

You were right with the dragging love triangles in Kdramas than Jdramas, since the later usually have shorter episodes than other countries. In term of HDY and MG2018, I think also is the presentation of the characters by the actors/actresses can give or not give SLS. In HDY, I got goosebump just watching Jun Matsumoto and Mao Inoue looked at each other in their second meeting (when he told her friend to lick his shoe). Even in hate, I felt chemistry oozed out from them. Plus at that time were they started dating IRL? So they should have strong chemistry IMO. Though acting of Shun Oguri was also great as the melancholic Rui, but I shipped the OTP from the beginning. As for MG2018, lol I had a crush on Dylan Wang who played as Dao Ming Si (ML), so automatically I shipped him with the FL. And throughout the drama, Hua Ze Lei (SML) was just look like a cute fluffy teddy bear to hug, not necessarily a strong opponent of ML.

You can fix the synopsis if you know the FL is not really his grandma. Please put the source too (it's okay if it's in Thai language).

My second watch in Asian dramaland was Boys over Flowers and man did I get SLS big time! At that time I declared Goo Joon Pyo was the biggest a-hole of all time, lol. I cried together with Ji Hoo and his grandpa when he was rejected by Jan Di. Oddly, I did not get SLS when I watched the Japanese and the Chinese versions tho. Since BoF I read an article about SLS and got over the SLS thing. Now no matter how jerk the main ML is I am just have to push thru the drama, hoping he would get a good character growth for redemption, and give a drama a bad rating if I don't see a decent tsundere process going on the ML.

Cos at first viewers were shocked having to watch a drama on mobile phone vertically, then each episode are only 1 minute. That's why many gave low rating. The viewers for S2 definitely already watched S1 and enjoyed it.

should be, the manga is not finished yet
