I have mixed feelings towards JRY , specially because she plotted JL rape in palace.
At first I hate her, too. I thought her role only served as a bitchy villain, one of the many mean girls in this drama. But in the latest episode got me thinking that probably the screenwriter (I don't read the novel) wrote a redemption plot for her. Her last word to Jiang Li before leaving her in today's episode hints that. Also, what Jiang Li said to Tong afterwards.
Curious at the end how the series shows the identity of a Xue Fang Fei, whether it remains with the identity of…
It's a tough question to answer, cos if it's revealed to the public that she is Xue Fang Fei, basically she lied to the Emperor. Lying to the emperor got a severe punishment in ancient times. As she said before to Xiao Heng, she just wanted to live a good life. That's why she married Shen Yu Rong who was merely a lowly scholar in the past, she doesn't want power, status, or wealth. I can picture that in the end, after they got their revenge, Jiang Li and Xiao Heng would retreat from the public and live somewhere secluded happily and peacefully. So, she'll quit the public eye as Jiang Li, but only the ones close to her know that she is Xue Fang Fei.
Synopsis per Douban: Xie Yun, the noble daughter of the Xie family, is an intelligent and brave young woman. After her family was in trouble, she was saved by Yin Ji and stayed by his side. However, due to a misunderstanding when they were young, the two continued to have a hate-love relationship. Xie Yun and Yin Ji gradually solved their misunderstandings as they fell in love, worked together to break the traitor's conspiracy, and stayed together firmly.
They really swapped bodies! It's not some stupid dream or novel written by the protagonist, lol. I wish China didn't censor modern fantasy, then production companies would've come up with funny situations like this!
Synopsis according to 163.com: The story is set in the future world. It tells the story of the "Final Key", a high-level encrypted information from the universe, which was broken into fragments and scattered around the earth. After being integrated with human beings, it evolved into new humans with super powers. As the strongest among the new humans, Sha Jia (played by Cheng Guo), in order to prevent the evil family Mo Er Qia Lin from trying to control the world, cooperated with her partner Zuo Wei with powerful search capabilities to collect the "Final Key Fragments" first. In the process, Sha Jia can see through everyone's fate and eventually rewrite it. But the partner He Yimu (played by Ye Haoran) who suddenly appears next to her seems to have an unknown identity and purpose.
I'm happy that you brought about my suggestion, as in my opinion more MDLers with interests in Chinese dramas and/or Chinese culture will find your forum posts informative. You can link your list on the drama's Recent Discussion posts or even on your profile page to promote the previous posts!
I watched the last 2 episodes raw version but I what I don't understand considering Xiao Qi is still a minor...…
What happened to Xiao Qi in the end? He's separated with Wang Shi Tu because Wang Shi Tu moved out. Mama Bian also went back to her hometown to live with her family. Who is now Xiao Qi's guardian or with whom will he live?
I know from the synopsis that Ji Hwan and Eun Ha were childhood playmates, but what is the connection between her and Hyeon Woo? Probably I missed the info in Ep 1. He seems to know her, but at the crosswalk she doesn't recognize him walking by. Her friend also mentioned his name.
