Kinda agree. Forbidden love is of course seeming more intense and sometimes exhausting than normal love. I watched…
Agree.. the more intriguing and unattainable story is, the more it catches people attention because it evoke different emotions such as sadness, anger and even sympathy. So OnO triggers our memories which can mimic the sorrow those 2 star-crossed lovers experienced. OnO definitely will be a hit drama for most likely decades.
Aww. Congrats to you and your wife! Tbh, real life does not need any complications in terms of loving just like our heroes in FaE: all I can see a normal wife and husband with dysfunctional family system. Hahahaha.
Just putting my two cents here… the thing why the chemistry of SY and ZSC is off the chart on OnO is due to their forbidden love/patriotic love in case of ZSC.. we already have the idea that their love will never come into fruition.. a perfect recipe for a drama! AND maybe because they already were comfortable with each other after filming FaE. Nonetheless, their love is so powerful it transcends through time.. that’s why it got so rave reviews and I am also guilty with loving both couple. My thoughts during FaE was “please let there be so many sweet moments, skinship so they can ease our sorrow and longing for them to be together.” Maybe because this is their first drama filming together OR maybe it is the way they supposed to act that’s why we audience are disappointed with little sweet moments. We set the bar too high! Haha. Either way, I am not displeased with Allen Ren and Bai Lu acting cause they slowly heal my brokenheart from OnO. More drama please!!!!!
A dark horse in Chinese historical drama this year - 2021. Did not expect the first few episodes to be so goooood.. The series is so captivating… I want more!
I have to say, I only watched 3 episodes and already got bored with it. I watched another drama in the meantime,…
do finish this when you have time. :) the first 5-8 episodes are just somewhat narration part as a backbone of the story, it's really great when the part is going good. just hang-on!
