Wanting the ML not to s*xually assault the FL is not being a snowflake. Villains can do that. You can love to…
You like your duality ML, then OWN it.

"ML s*xually assaults FL. I like this drama." = OWN it.

"ML s*xually assaults FL. You all a bunch of snowflakes if you don't like this drama" = GASLIGHTING.

If you owned it, you wouldn't care what others think about him. You wouldn't try to make REAL people accept s*xual assault as romance. My hypocrisy? My hypocrisy is I don't want to see ML s*xuay assault FL, whether Eastern drama, Western drama or Martian drama.

I would respect you if you actually have some ovaries to stop belittling REAL people. Don't be a hypocritical snowflake and care what people think about your attempted r*pist.

“But you cross the line if you insult REAL people who have problems with his actions” No one is insulting…
I appreciate your acknowledgement about your misunderstanding. Happy drama watching!

“But you cross the line if you insult REAL people who have problems with his actions” No one is insulting…
"No one is insulting people simply for having a problem with his actions."
-This sentence of yours dismissed my statement about being personally insulted, so I responded to that.

To clarify, each time you write "you", you mean a general "you"? Because replying under my comment, I take your "you's" as meaning ChrisRobbins.

Therefore:
"Enjoying a fictional character doesn’t mean I endorse his actions, and disagreeing with your interpretation doesn’t make me insecure."

"Your interpretation" - This "your", ChrisRobbins didn't say that. It's not about "disagreeing with interpretation"

"Nobody said you can’t criticize the ML or call out his actions. The discussion is about the difference between analyzing a fictional character and excusing his behavior."

- No, my discussion is not about that. See 1st paragraph. "To each and their own". I am requesting civility.

"Those are two entirely different things, and repeatedly bringing up real people’s experiences doesn’t automatically make your interpretation the only valid one."
-I didn't bring up any real person's experience except for my own of being insulted. There is no" your interpretation". The name calling is there for you to see.

"If someone insulted you for your opinion, that’s wrong."
- There's no "if's" here. This comes across as dismissive again.

"And the little “binge-watching fatigue” remark? You could’ve made your point without the condescension. If we’re going to talk about people respecting differing opinions, maybe start by extending that same courtesy to others."
- I was genuinely confused why you dismissed that I was insulted. Again the 2nd time. And also said I interpreted the ML's actions. Where? S*xual assault is a fact, right? No interpretation. So I assumed fatigue.

" You’re focusing on one sentence while ignoring the context of my entire comment."
- That's from your first 2 replies. I will respond to your third one later.

If you're still around, can you explain how he's a r*pist. I'm only on ep 12, but as far as I know he never r*ped…
I agree with you. I have been very careful and specific in calling his actions s*xual assault. He's an attempted r*pist.

There was a soap opera in the 80s where the FL actually fell in love with her actual r*pist. Very popular couple. Then it was whitewashed as a "seduction". I like to hope times have changed since then.

Yes! I have seen negative comments about the FL, which some are victim blaming, but don't bother to respond. I didn't feel like it would be a productive debate.

“But you cross the line if you insult REAL people who have problems with his actions” No one is insulting…
"But you don’t get to lump everyone who disagrees with your perspective into the same category"

Point to me where I did that? There are only 3 sentences in that 2nd paragraph.

You put words in my mouth, then when I jokingly gave you an excuse out, you continue to put words in my mouth.

You're right. He's not a r*pist. He's an attempted r*pist. In episode 14, you will see her in the fetal position sobbing after he tried. Let me know what you think after you get there.

What was that saying? Oh yeah: This is not an airport, you don't need to anounce your departure.
Scrolling is not hard. Do you always silence people who have concerns about r*pe? Where were you during the Me Too movement?

Scrolling is a good option, but I don't think it's a very popular one considering the fighting going on here and…
Uh, to clarify, I never said anyone was morally bad to like this drama nor did I claim moral superiority for not liking it. I am defending against being called those names for an opinion on a fictional character.

“But you cross the line if you insult REAL people who have problems with his actions” No one is insulting…
The words in quotes are the words used against me and people who have problems with his actions. Aren't those insults? Show me an instance where I initiated attacks on real people for differing opinions. I did not call you insecure for disagreeing with me. I called people who insult REAL people who have concerns with the ML's abusive actions insecure. Did you do that?

Please reread, it's either getting too late or too early in your zone. I will give you the benefit of binge watching fatigue.

If you want to write about how interesting you find the ML and how you like the drama, great! I am honestly happy that you are enjoying it. I won't comment. To each and their own✌️

⚠️ But you cross the line if you insult REAL people who have problems with his actions. Do not be surprised if people defend themselves. Calling people who don't like the ML repeatedly s*xually assaulting the FL "pathetic", "losers" and "snowflakes", etc -- don't make your projection of guilt and insecurity too obvious, 'k?

If you don't like reading negative things about a FICTIONAL character, scrolling is a very popular option ☮️ 🧘

Calling real people "snowflakes" to push them to accept a male lead that has repeatedly s*xually assaulted the female lead is gaslighting. It is an attempt to undermine people's reality and perception. Classic abuser technique.

You don't condone his behavior but can understand a fictional character's actions. Very empathetic. Nice. 👏 Why are you ok with OP insulting REAL people?

I really can't understand when tf everyone became such a snowflakes. Do everything needs to be seen through pink…
Wanting the ML not to s*xually assault the FL is not being a snowflake. Villains can do that. You can love to hate a villain. You can even ship that dynamic. But the ML should not be s*xually assaulting her. You are gaslighting with this name calling. You want to enjoy the drama. Do so. But don't try to gaslight those who want the ML to be better.

Uh, yea, not a good idea taking it out of context.
Amnesia? Making her fall in love with him when she isn't at her full mental capacity for full consent? Writers are mind r*ping her now. This drama is incomprehensible

Defending s*xual assault makes you not pathetic? Have a good day ☺️ .
It was a trigger warning. If you weren't triggered, you don't need to reply. I'm looking out for those who may be affected by s*xual assault. You don't seem to care about s*xual assault. Name calling is a sign of low emotional intelligence and displaced aggression. I suggest you find somewhere else to project your feelings. Buh-bye 😘☺️.

Title The Lament of Autumn Spoiler
‼️⚠️TRIGGER WARNING⚠️‼️
ML, as an act of revenge, attempts to r*pe FL. Because of WUV. Those who have been s*xually assaulted or prefer not to watch the FL fall in love with her abusive prisoner and attempted r*pist may want to stay away.

I just can't get the image of the FL sobbing in the fetal position after fending off r*pe to continue this drama.
