Was the TLP novel originally supposed to be tailored to the adults or teenagers? If it was more adult oriented, over reliance on cuteness does not work. It will grate on the nerves of the adult audience. I will try a few more episodes and will drop it if I cannot take it or keep FF.

I think a forum or page needs to be open to all kinds of discussion. As I was telling Kwanto, as long as no one is giving rubbish reviews like her nose is not sharp enough or she is too short etc. Just discussing the drama esthetics, actor performance etc. We should be open to listen and agree to disagree. This is where we can learn new things and have new perspectives. I am grateful that our TTEOTM page is a positive and safe space. All our residents rock!

Yes, casting the right people for the roles is also very important. Not just getting any actor with prestigious awards. At times a drama flops not because the actor is not good but rather a mis-casting issue. Many times an unknown actor also turns out to be a solid actor, like Xixi. RM is pretty but does not have a fairy look and thus her looks clash with what is expected of a fairy in costume. And the way she presents her character also grates on people's nerves. No saving grace. *sighs* Which is such an injustice to her as those of us seeing her for the first time in this role are going to be put off.
