Was excited to watch this thinking the martial arts lady in white was the FL but dropped it in the 2nd episode when i found out the weak assasin/princess was the actual FL. I've watched her in another drama and she is very mediocre in acting. If they hadn't made her character into a dumb girl with no presence i might have continued to watch this drama. I'm out.
So it seems like the FL is a materialistic , greedy and loose woman with legs open for any and every man who will offer her money and fame. ML is a professor but rather stupid and blind when it comes to judging people. Apparently ML and FL will end up together even though she sends him to jail? Which moron is writing this crap? Women like that deserve no love and ML needs to wake up and move on.
YAI and KTH did a great job in this drama. I always take stories about Kings/Emperors and their "true" loves with a pinch of salt. There is no way a King/Emperor can love just one woman with their harems filled with hundreds of women, new and younger ones brought in and older ones thrown away continuously. A Kings harem would have been a living prison for all these poor women who were only valued for their breeding capabilities.
DW is phenomenal. His acting is amazing to behold, they way he switches between Wolfie and Prince Bo is fantastic.

Damn true. He gives off such manly vibes that it draws the eye to him in every scene he is in. His acting prowess is phenomenal. There are very few actors like Darren in the Chinese acting industry. He is a rare gem that deserves a lot more appreciation and accolades. ♡
Female Lead Ma Zhaixing is dumb, annoying and a liability. By the end of the drama i didn't ship her with Lord Bo, instead i liked Yao Ji, who had the intelligence to challenge Lord Bo. Not impressed with the main actresses acting abilities.
Yao Ji is hateful at first but then shows her true self and her feelings for ML. She is intelligent, cunning and brave. She is the FL Lord Bo deserved. They would have made a powerful couple and she would have been an asset to him. The actress is very talented and overshadowed the FL.
2nd Male Lead Ji Chong is also annoying and boastful, even when he gets beaten to the ground by 1st ML. He is willfully blind to being constantly friendzoned by FL and endlessly tries to poison her mind against ML. :(
Princess Bao Na is a raving idiot and I was hoping one of the soldiers would accidentally decapitate her.
I'm glad i only watched snippets of this drama. Which self respecting wife would trust a husband who sells himself and goes away with another woman for days? Then makes the other woman his priority while the wife is in hospital? The husband is a cheap person and so is the rich woman. They both deserve each other as they are both dishonourable and disgusting people. Drama's like this are a waste of time. As someone wrote below: this drama is for cheaters and immoral people. :D
Loving this drama. Was very annoyed with FL in the beginning but got used to her now. ML lead is a cutie when he smiles. Lovely deep voice.
Hope to see more romance between the two. No idea who the stalker could be but leaning towards the doctor, ML best friend but I'm sure it will be a total surprise.
Could even be a female looking at the small hands. What if the stalkers obsession is with the ML rather than the women?
It was good in the beginning but is so much of a drag now that I have to force myself to watch each episode! I don't care if the leads and everyone else around them drop dead, so boring. The chemistry has fizzled out and the "romance " is sleep inducing.
