I’m dropping it, I really cannot pass from episode 10 onwards lol.
I don’t know about the novel, it really sounds good and I’ll check it out.

I liked the first 5 eps and how every detail is depicted. Many serious issues are being highlighted but dealt with gently. The growth of the plot and warm cinematography along with the music makes it worthwhile.

My theory is that Ryang Eum is the white-haired man in the first episode.
