I don’t find this one too annoying. The guy who’s trying to win Dongbaek back is really annoying in my eyes (he should just stay out of their lives in my opinion), but it’s very obviously one-sided and he’s quite pushy about it. I don’t think you’re really supposed to like him haha. Still, I haven’t seen the end (about three-quarters of the way through) so I’m not too sure how it plays out.

I’d say to give it a try for at least a few more episodes! Dong Baek is very passive, but that allows for some character growth as she learns to stand up for herself. The drama also discusses social norms a lot and the difficulties of choosing certain lifestyles a lot, and none of the characters are totally loveable, which I really like.
