The training scenes take up most of the drama because the main purpose was to give more insight about the life of soldiers and honor them for their hard work (which in reality that is what they do, get endless training most of the time to improve their strength/skills and fight in war with some sacrifices). So the drama does a good job with its realistic portrayal. As for the terrorist action, this story focuses mainly on one particular group and not many, which they show happening through steps as the terrorist team tries to carry out their plan but get interceded. That is why there weren’t too many terrorist action scenes until leading up to the finale of course.

I meant that I previously waited for all the episodes to be available before starting to watch a newly broadcasted drama, not to rewatch this one again lol. Sometimes watching during its broadcasting period is a pain since you have to wait for new episodes, especially when it is good but does not update each day.

Just a thought, because I have watched a few other dramas on WETV before when all the episodes were free to access after a while and the subs were fine.

I agree, but I guess that was another factor that made this drama appealing and wanting to continue watching although it ended haha.
If what I saw was true about a second season in the future, maybe there would be more to their story progression :)

Other than the ones mentioned on this page, I think you can try Forward Forever. It is a historical genre with some similarities to this one (strong friendship/team, action) and definitely emotional.

Note: Just be prepared for the subs but it may have been fixed since that drama was from a while ago.

In another sense, it also shows that women should not be underestimated. Just because she is a female doesn't mean she would be easily defeated. If you have noticed, usually in crime/action dramas they tend to always take longer to bring down the villain in the finale so I guess this follows that same concept.

What made this a really good show was due to the fact that all the action scenes were done by the actors/actresses themselves which made everything more realistic. There was no use of any substitutes in performing the stunts (training, fighting & explosion scenes) and they actually had training under real soldiers prior to adapting to their roles.

That is real dedication and hard work!

Yes, I’m just mentioning it in case it was missed. There are no doubt certain flaws within the drama and in that particular scene, maybe the director felt that it was the better way to portray the struggling and intensity between the characters as that woman is the main villain. Just looking at it from another point of view.

That terrorist woman won the world fighting champion 3 times and both of them were wounded during the fight without weapons which explains that scene. She was not someone easy to deal with.

Maybe the subs will be fixed after all episodes have aired for non VIPS? It is possible that there was not time to check the subs for every episode as VIPS get to watch in advance.

Yes, it is subtle but still nice. Since this is mostly a military action genre, too much romance would actually not fit. You should give it a try, it's worth the watch!
