Good news: A Virtual Voyage have finished subbing Part 1 - episodes 21 and 22 are now on their website. Bad news: they’re not subbing Part 2… I’m not holding my breath for Croton subs this has been a shambles.

Can anyone who has read the novel tell me if this has a happy ending? I’ve watched up to episode 5 (watched the a virtual voyage fan sub - which is brilliant quality by the way) and I’m not sure my fragile heart will be able to make it through the seemingly impending angst!

3) ? Same as 2 except ML is regent and raises the child together with FL as a couple… DX did say ML took his last name…

Ok this could be reaching… but if HS does become Empress which it looks like from trailers… could FZ become Emperor?? I seem to remember DX saying FZ took his last name which meant he could live in the palace… I really want a HE!

I’m afraid to start watching this… it sounds like it might be a sad ending and I can’t take another One and Only! Forever and Ever just did not heal that wound…

Only on Ep 6 (watching on Viki) and it does keep getting better but I feel like I missed something - Cheng Ruo Yu starts as his bodyguard and immediately talks to him really casually and he just likes her straight away for seemingly no reason at all? He starts trying to protect her almost straight away, I feel like I missed them getting to know and like each other… confused…

I am loving this so much, it just keeps getting better! ML was adorable in EP 5, I love him! can’t believe we have to wait a week to see what happens!!!

Ah right I thought it wasn’t Seven’s voice because it sounds different to me from Under the Power but maybe I need to listen to her speak more! Yep recognised Ye Hua’s voice straight away, the voice actor seems to work on so many dramas! Thanks for the responses!

I’ve just started the first episode and am massively put off by the dubbed voices!! Seven and Wallace have lovely voices why’d they dub them... do you get used to it? Is it worth watching?

There are a couple of love triangles that the two leads are part of but they never really materialise into anything. There are a few couples other than the main leads but they don’t get a lot of screen time. It is a happy ending! Some of the main characters do die but it all makes sense. A couple of the main characters do end up on a dark path through obsession but karma catches up to them both. I really enjoyed this drama it is worth a watch!

I think the YouTube schedule is supposed to be 4 new subbed episodes every Friday, fingers crossed we get new episodes tommorow!

So some of the episodes are now subbed on Mango TV.... 1-5 and 7 but not 6 and 8? Hopefully the subs for those will be up v soon!!

That’s exactly where I stopped as well... ! I’ve never dropped a drama before but I only wanted to keep going because I’m a completionist... but you’re right it’s not a good enough reason. I’m leaving it.. started off well but dragged and I’m not really invested in the couples (too many!)

I know people have mixed views about this drama but I loved it.... I loved Xiao Yiqing and Shu Jingrong was such a strong female character, they are so well matched. I really recommend giving this drama a try!
