I totally agree! I got super teary at the end (and I normally don’t when watching dramas…. In fact the last time i cried was Love & Redemption for SiFeng). At least they are together in the end (though I felt horrible for YuMo! He lost his 2 closest people in front of his eyes).
I absolutely loved that unexpected scene with YingYuan & XuanYe & RanQing ….., the talk with YanDan & YingYuan be the lotus pond where she finally forgave him….. how people in the Heavenly Realm seriously questioned the fake Heavenly Emperor.

From the flashback that lasted for more then 1 second of XY…. XY wore that mask. For all we know… the only people who knew RanQing’s man was XY was only RanQing & Heavenly Emperor….. cuz I would have assumed that the Asura minion of hooded man would have recognized YY as being related to XY ( since he use to be XY’s minion) if he ever saw XY’s face.
If any of the lead dies, if by any chance its YY I just hope its not like ALP, its one of my faves but the ending…
I also hope they don’t become mortals in the end! To me it would be a waste (I mean if YingYuan truly becomes a mortal then he’s not going to have long to live with YanDan) of the entire Deity & Asura bloodline that YingYuan has going on…. I can see YingYuan as the pathway to lasting peace between the Deities & Demons since he’s both & he’s powerful either way now that he’s unknowingly also cultivating Eternal Darkness……
Plus….. can he revoke his Asura side??? Let’s imagine he gives up his position as a deity & his cultivation as a deity… there’s still that super powerful royal Asura side too…. I don’t think he can ever be a regular mortal….

I think it’s not that he (fake Heavenly Emperor) just found out YungYuan is an Asura…. It’s that he just found out that YingYuan is XuanYe’s son & has his bloodline which is special (he probably thought YingYuan was just some Asura minion that the Heavenly Realm caught or something) …. and to me this means he has no idea to even ask who YingYuan’s mother was….

I would believe that the XuanYe we see fighting YingYuan is either a puppet spell or something along those lines instead of XuanYe being alive only because I noticed that XuanYe & YingYuan are both fighting each other with the same weapon ….. since that weapon contains the sword spirit I doubt that can happen.

Her divinity was erased but there are other ways for mortals/humans to get power (aka Spirit Hunters have powers… there’s also the mention of sorcery) & since YanDan’s twin went against the order to wipe the lamp’s memories she’s got all her knowledge in her quest to gain power however she can.
