This is my first Han Groo drama. I think the thing we’re all kindly trying to avoid mentioning is that the cast has so much plastic surgery or Botox that their faces just don’t move. Not one forehead crease or eye wrinkle when they’re angry or crying.
Jin Goo was also pretty stoic in my fave drama, Cinderella and the Four Knights. Stoic but also funny. I loved the drunk scene where he puked, passed out. Adorable. And the chairwoman has really expressive eyes. She’s really good at smizing and showing expressions with her eyes. She was so good in Queen of Tears and I actually really enjoy her acting in Cinderella Game. Her ability to switch from grief, to bored/zoned out, to love, to straight up evil is great, and she can do it all without cracking a smile.
I kind of like the exaggerated acting of the cast, lol. They’re not going to win any awards but it kind of matches the overall low budget vibe of the show.
Also, unpopular opinion, I like HaNa’s new hair cut. The makeup and clothes might not be great but the hair is definitely a step up from that constant bun.
It’s really driving me crazy how Ha Na never closes the bedroom door behind herself when she’s making confidential calls. Anyone can over hear and she’s just blabbing.

Du Na is Lee Yu Jin. Remember, when she arrived at the orphanage, Ha Na was her first friend. They were so close that the nuns renamed Yu Jun to Ha Na because the girls were as close as sisters - Lee Ha Na and now Lee Du Na. The women remained friends even into adulthood, and when Du Na died in a car accident, Ha Na was basically her next of kin and adopted Du Na's (aka Yu Jin's) infant son.
