Don't cast Yoo Yoon Seok... the drama will be ruined. Sorry but that's what I felt after watching him in Reply…
He was stellar in Mr. Sunshine, though. I also think he did well in Dr. Romantic and Gu Family Book. Granted, I haven't watched any of the shows you mentioned.
This was fun! I actually ended up saving a lot of shows to watch later. This is so helpful in finding other shows I'd like that I missed over the year. Thank you for taking the time to put this together. :-D
I'm on the second to last episode of the first season and while Yena is cute, I just hope there's some growth with her in this season. You could make a drinking game out of how often she says "I'm scared."
Overall, looking forward to this. I like how they even punished them within the storyline when they don't act like or do the things they would if it was really happening. The whole thing is on such a large scale in terms of the linking of puzzles that puts "Busted" to shame. If I were the director, I'd want them to take it as serious as necessary, too, to keep the realistic feel.
I don't understand why people think murdering someone is the answer to being cheated on. Something is seriously…
Say for instance you call a black character a racial slur. Would people feel that only extends to the character? No, they wouldn't. You'd be deemed racist. Why? Because when you negatively speak about things that don't only apply to the character (i.e. age, race, nationality, gender, etc), you are negatively speaking about all people it applies to. That's not a hard concept to grasp, but seems to be far beyond your level of comprehension. I'm not surprised
Also, how is it "feminism" not to call women over a certain age mean things? I guess you see respecting women as feminism and that is bad thing to you. Again, not surprising from your comments so far. Your additional comments have only further proved that you are a misogynistic, hateful, immature, violent, and discriminatory person that I hope women of any age steers clear of. Your mother, and the toxic male she raised, can continue to laugh your heads off at my so called "butthurt" responses. I'm peacefully drinking tea while I read yours.
Yes, genius writing and acting indeed. I’m glad we can appreciate it for its entertainment and paradigm-bending…
I'm confused on you saying the writer will face boycotts. South Korea loves shows like these. It has all the juicy bits of makjang without the over-top-drama. The ratings for Season 2 are even higher than Season 1. Episode 9 this weekend had the highest rating so far this season.
I truly think the writer is doing a good job at showing all angles of adultery, along with the mundane parts. While I don't like that they play love music during scenes with the mistresses, I had to take a step back and look at the story more objectively. Song Won is the only mistress I don't dislike because she's the only one that feels what she did was wrong. I think if people could get past the adultery (story-wise) and negativity toward her age, they could see all the nuances with what's going on with her.
The story is actually well-written, but I think it elicits too many immediate strong reactions and emotions for a lot of people for that to be seen. Again, the love songs for cheating doesn't help, either.

"It's not my fault you're in you're 40s."
Yes, It's my own fault I'm thankfully still alive from when I was born. You're trying to ridicule me and others for being alive. So logical. Is your mom a cougar? Is she an old hag, too? How butthurt would she be to see what you wrote? Misogynistic, hateful, immature, violent, and discriminatory. I hope women any age steer clear of you.
The audacity of Sa Hun's inflatable mistress to question and judge Hye Rung's upbringing or how her parents raised…
I don't understand why people think murdering someone is the answer to being cheated on. Something is seriously wrong with you and anyone else who thinks like this. It's no wonder there are so many men that think it's ok to kill a woman when she doesn't accept their advances. And then the misogyny. Two old hags? For women in their 40's? I'm in my 40's and I, like many other women my age, are far from "old hags." I'm seeing this type of comment regarding this show too much around the internet. And coming from a male makes it 2x as questionable.
I love Jang Nara and paranormal dramas, but I'm worried this might be too scary for my scaredy-cat self, lol. Put it like this, Hotel del Luna was a little bit of a struggle for me.
Good drama except the AWFUL scenes of torture and useless violence in the last episode.
How was it useless? He did what he said he would do. It satisfying to see villains like them really get what they deserve. Vincenzo is the anti-hero and there were flashbacks of his type of violent atonement many times throughout the series. I feel like you shouldn't have been surprised at the end.
Sooo did the leads end up together or is there promise of them getting together? ^^
They don't end up together. He's choosing to continue his evil life which they both know and accept she doesn't fit in. Since the island is a secret refuge for the family, they were joking about her coming there to visit. :-(
On another note, do you know where I can watch this 2nd season? I can't find it anywhere on the internet.
