My personal fave is how there must be a Henchman-R-Us in dramaland. No evil rich guy is complete without one. Literal gangs of them are ready at just the drop of one phone call possessing high level fighting skills, yet not high enough to defeat detectives. They come equipped with suits, 2x4's or steel bats, and an extreme lack of morals. Perfect fit for any dastardly deed you need done. Bonus pts if the main one has a younger sibling in the hospital that needs surgery.
"Lee Young-Joon's family runs a large company and he works as the vice-president of the company. He is smart, rich and handsome, but he is arrogant." = Kdrama romance boilerplate
I am probably like the only person on this planet who doesn't really dig Park Seo Joon as a leading man. I loved…
Upon seeing this new drama, I immediately thought of how he is the same in every drama. Even in the saeguk Hwarang! Just has a different name and wearing (maybe) different style of clothing. I first came across him in Witch's Romance, and thought he was great there, but he was the same person basically in the dramas I watched him in after that.
This one will be Park Seo Joon after he finished his intern and got hired at the top through connections, lol.
The internet there is super restricted. They definitely don't see everything. Lucky if they even see 10% of everything.
My company has two offices in China and we usually have to address them getting blocked from things online that are mandatory for them to do their job through VPN, even when they have legal permission to do so via the company network. It is heavily regulated.
I agree on some points but on others not so much. Each drama has it's own certain charm in my opinion and just…
You know... it was clear from the title of the article what it was going to be about. Your comment is hypocritical as if you don't like people criticizing dramas, don't read articles where it's abundantly clear that's what they are going do and then criticize them for doing it. You didn't have to open this and you sure didn't have to read it. Yet you did and you're trying to act all high and mighty. Get over yourself, seriously.
Tell it! Let 'em get their pitchforks, lol. Shun the non-believers!!
Two on the list, I wanted to drop but got too invested and needed to know how it would end despite my suffering. That would be Revolutionary Love and Suspicious Partner.
I totally dropped Hwarang and Chicago Typewriter. Can we talk about the Joseon disco in Hwarang?? LoL. Ridiculous. And I'm all the way with you on how Yoo Ah In's character was dressed. 'Buffoonery on steroids' was the concept. Ruining all that fine-ness unnecessarily.
Temperature of Love and While You Were Sleeping... I knew better after reading the synopsis for both. Nope and nope. I like looking at Lee Jong Suk, but I have to agree, he's the same in each show. Would love to see some range from him. Take a risk on something challenging.
It was a physical altercation. That's an important distinction to make here.
Huh? I'm not sure what you're assuming I was trying to "bait" you with or what you feel I was implying you were saying. I definitely don't know what "that discussion" would be.
I pretty much agree with you, but just feel a distinction should be made on what type of assault it was for the reasons I put above. Maybe try asking questions first before assuming someone has it out for you.

Not to you, but to someone who has been sexually assaulted versus physically assaulted, it matters. It also matters in terms of the crime. Healing from being hit, and trying to move on from having your body violated along with your dignity/will to live are not on the same playing field. Both wrong, but different.
And don't get me wrong, I'm not making any excuses for this fool's behavior/actions whatsoever. However, when people make things out to be what they aren't, it distracts from what actually happened. He's a POS that physically assaulted her and got away with it because he is famous with a lot of money.
That's got to be one of the donwsides of being a popular celebrity, you can't just do normal stuff like have a gf/bf and break up. The fact that your agency is involved in any part of that shows how little freedom they have to just live their lives privately.
