Ok, for #10, I remember the show and looked up the episode for the when the customer slapped the convenience store worker. It was in High School King of Savvy, ep 5. Check the video, it's at about 1:15. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wARFvxbZa58
And it took a lot of remembering and looking through episodes, but the Glamorous Temptation slap is episode 20 at the 30:08 mark. I howled again, LOL!
Brilliant article! You actually had me laughing a lot. "Women do the slapping. Men do the slapping. They…
LoL! You know, I seriously need to look up that scene from Glorious Tempation and share the time. I don't know if it will have as much meaning to people who didn't watch the episodes leading up to, but I feel it needs to be scene. Made into a .gif even.
Well... I feel the same, but every time, when someone is asking 'So why are you still watching Korean Dramas'…
"So why are you still watching Korean Dramas"
Because we don't have to like everything about things we enjoy. We love our parents, but I'm sure many of could make lists about things they do that drive us nuts. Should we just stop being their offspring then? LoL. Shun the non-believers.
The one I hate the most is: <<You can't fall in love, unless he/she is your childhood friend. childhood…
Always! Even when we think they completely met as adults, at the end of some random episode, they'll show them with their parents shopping in the grocery store walking past each other. She drops her stuffed animal that so wasn't around at that time, and he picks it up for before running to catch up with his parent. And it's like seeeeeeeeeeee, DESTINTY!.
Black Cap applies to segeuks too. For some reason assassins and similar need to advertise their identity with…
This is so true! lmao @ "...with black clothes and black hat fully covering their faces even at noon." Nothing suspicious about that man running around with half his face covered like we can't recognize him from his eyes in broad daylight. Nothing at all.
Wow, I really enjoyed your article and totally agree with everything you wrote. But what gave me the most pleasure…
You're welcome, my sunflower. Yea, albeit a generalization, Koreans are not docile in nature. Maybe it if was elder they knew well, and it would depend on the situation, but they are the type that will hit you back in an instant or shout at you. I love it, lol.
Good one! Me and Marooma were once talking about the absurd fashion precedes wealth trend in Kdrama. Like their…
So, here's a fun fact, in cities like Seoul and Busan, there are shopping plazas underground around train stations. There are a lot of clothes that look like they would cost more than they actually do. I was so jealous that I would in no lifetime ever be able to fit any of them cause they had highly fashionable garments for the equivalent of like $10 - $15 - $30 at these stands/stores and there are so many of them.
So, on that one, unless it's obvious that it's designer, it's hard to tell for me. It doesn't cost much to look good in Korea, lol.
Good job Cinnamaroll. One of my bug bears is how the main leads have met as kids and every main character has…
Thanks, Rosie! :-D
You know, lol, funny thing is, as big as Seoul is, a lot of people are actually connected. TMI, but I was Tinder Plus-ing and swiping in Seoul. I have a couple of people on my FB list that are from there. I was surprised at how many guys were either a 2nd or 1rst connection with those two people.
I actually met one of the FB friends for the first time while we happened to be in Seoul at the same time, even though we both live in America. His parents lived only 10 mins from my AirBNB. It was nuts and only came about cause I saw him check-in to SMTown and post pics from there the same day, I did. LOL. So, my friend, I'd have say that may be based on reality.

Track suits are just terrible fashion outside of actual track. Let's ban them.
