I agree, I’m loving the drama but the long political scenes are exhausting. But the ml and fl are so good together , I love their chemistry. The only downside for me is the palace politics that never seem to end

Probably trying to drag the story for 36 eps but this pace is too slow. They’ve been through so much together yet we don’t see them opening up or trusting each other. One of the comment said that the prince is in love with the empress ( if that’s the case then damn!it’s creepy !)

Seriously, they talk about being a team and yet hiding their “plans” and aren’t trusting each other. This far into the story, I thought if they communicate and identify they have similar goals, that’ll actually show some growth in their relationship. I’m getting tired of this plot now. And the involvement of the prince with the empress is not making much sense to me right now. But I guess we’ll see what the real story is behind this! (I feel like if taohua shares her mission of saving her brother with shen zaiye, he might help her😭)

Right, she’s still stuck in her initial thought process. It’s kinda annoying we’re almost in the middle of the drama and there seems to be very little emotional development in her character. Initially I disliked nan heng but now I am unable to like fl 😭
