I binged 7 episodes. This drama is so good. And although the themes are dark ( abuse, poverty, loneliness..) the story so far is quite feel good to me. Because they found each other and I love stories when characters make their own family against adversity.
It's my 4th drama with FL and I think she always chooses the best scripts and she's really talented. Reborn and Blossom in adversity were fantastic. ❤️

I have a question after episode 1. Is her mom her real mom? Because when we see her for the first time in the past, she's on the bus but at first it seems that they don't know eachother? It looks like the "mom" helps her hide and meet for the first time.

Currently at episode 19. I love main couple but the other couples and office dramas take too much screen time 🥱 That's a pity. So it's too many episodes.

I love both actors but I don't feel like watching a sad drama. Is it very sad and angsty? The trailer was 🥹.

This episode was hard to watch because Xiao Fan was sad but I'm really enjoying this drama. The characters are very interesting. Even Xiao Fan, his character is more complex than you'd think. Not every character must be strong.

I haven't read the book but I understood from the drama his situation very well. The dynamic of his family were quite clear to me. Honestly, I don't resent him for who he is because everybody made him this way.

That's so true. He has been treated like shit since he was a child and then it continued. He just want to be wanted, loved and useful. That's the sign of trauma in childhood. He can't change in 1 day.

Same. I just saw it today and binged the 3 episodes. I haven't even checked all the other dramas.

How is he manipulative because he asked if the baby was ok ? He heard the news when his parents were talking in the hotel room. He didn't even know why he had to get married to her.
I really don't see him as a manipulative person at all. He got drugged and taken advantage off. He's a victim.

Now reading the comments, I only see people complaining about the ML 😅 while I was so captivated by the drama.
