I'll let you all know, I have a weakness for smart men in dramas. That said, the main character being a doctor who reads body language and desperately wants to be normal, attracted me in the very first episode.
As the drama goes on, you start to wonder if the main character really does have problems with his brain, since there are moments where he truly looks like he's in emotional turmoil. I love the chemistry between the main female and male characters, to the point where I just want them to have more time together. In fact, sometimes you start thinking he's more humane then most people in the hospital. You start feeling things for him that he himself cannot feel, and you just want to explain to him what he's feeling, or what he thinks he should be feeling.
I love the female main character, though usually I'm all for the badass type of woman in dramas. She's sweet, hopefull, motivated, and determined to help, and has a very good understanding of people and emotions, which makes a perfect companion for the doctor who can't feel emotions. There are times where I think she's a little too cliche, but somehow, it fits and doesn't bother me at all. She even takes on a couple of male cliches, completely reversing roles with the main character.
I'm never too picky about acting, at least when it comes to Asian dramas, but I think the characters are portayed wonderfully, and instead of one huge giant climax, there's a bunch of smaller ones, with a large one on the horizon, giving a more "real life" feel to the drama of the hospital.
Anyone who likes a little bit of psychology, mystery, romance, and hospital talk, this is for you! If you're new to the drama hospital world, this is a good start! They don't shove terms down the viewers throats, and it isn't all hospital life, though it is the main setting.
I hope I influenced you to watch this! I think this is my second ever review? Just give it a shot!
