Yes, after episode 2 I talked to someone somewhere online about the deep meaning of this drama bc the webtoon was fluffy but also deep and encouraging, with lots of analogies and the 3 weeks later none of that was there. It's just a romcom with fantasy as background lots of beautiful faces and beautiful filter which makes them even prettier. They started making JuDa seem like she's aware and we can already collect the plotholes since the first time she smirked in the shadow while she was playing on stage. Also yet another unpopular opinion I'd like it more if BK didn't romantically like Dan Oh, his character became a lot weak since then.

So I also feel you at the end of today's episode I started counting and we only have 5 more days ( ･ั﹏･ั)

EPs 21-22: I just love how Dong Joo takes initiative to show her love for Nok Du also, she's not your typical girl who is constantly at the receiving end waiting for the guy to make moves and at the same time, Nok Du is so shy and adorable. They are definitely my favourite OTP of this season. Anyways the king is so weak is ridiculous, I'm actually glad Nok Du was educated by another man bc his real father is clearly lost. He killed his own subject like that and regreted 3 sec later. Also I know lord Heo was plotting against him but wtf he trusts Yul Mu THAT easily. Kang Tae Oh really great actor (I know 5urprise has the greatest actors) but I'm still quite shocked

Saturday I had an argument with ppl defending the sexist stuff from melting me softly. One person basically said that if we can't make fun of ppl then comedy is dead and everything will be boring. Here we have this drama which is funny, harmless funny sometimes over the top but still funny at the same time raising awareness to important things like domestic violence in a mature way. I know this might not the best drama of this season but it's pretty good so far and I really enjoy it. The reason I got here is Kim Seon Ho but I'm actually not staying only bc of him which is the opposite from what we can see happening on melting me softly bc almost everyone is watching because of JCW

Never said I dislike him. I'm just disappointed, I'm kinda upset but it's an isolated stuff. It's not like I'll be badmouth him in his future works bc of this one, it's the first time I'm having problems with a character he plays and even if hes playing a character I don't like, I still like his acting... On the other hand the writing yes this one I'll avoid whenever I can bc it's the 2/2 times I don't like something from this writer.

About melting me softly. We know the story is about boy and girl who wake up 20 years later after being frozen ok last time they have that 1999 mentality BUT JCW character quickly adapt to everything except this he says some really frustrating outdated manly stuff... How could he adapt to everything except this? I watched til ep 10. When it finishes airing give it a try and decide but I don't think you're gonna like it really.

Hopefully he'll be back next season.

I can't explain the other things you said bc I really think it's a matter of taste (you see, I don't love this drama but I didn't drop it since it's harmless and I have time to kill but on the other hand I just dropped melting me softly bc the writer is clearly a sexist so I think it's a matter of taste) BUUUT it have to agree the cinematography is really good also the cast is beautiful, every single person is beautiful. And the outfits, I look forward to see those hairpins and hat strings (idk if it has a proper name) every week, and this is the one of the first dramas I watch that both actor and actress dress flawlessly.

Me neither. I just dropped after MDC basically said his sister would never be loved since she's a mess like it's only her fault or sth. The writer is TOO sexist and I'm a bit disappointed JCW accepted this kind of role.

Im Won Hee and Kim Won Hae recognizing each other (since they worked together in other dramas) was one of the best scenes written in this drama. That's it and that's sad. At this point I'm just collecting Ma Dong Chan's sexists phrases and being disappointed JCW is playing this character

If we're gonna be really honest here both the king and matchmaker Ma are boring af. I like both actors but their characters oof if I were gae tong I'd rather be single and have lots of fun with my bff young soo
