Boy spent years studying in china ofc he was gonna come back w a modern vision of life + before leaving he saw his father killing a lil girl and ultimately popping up the bubble of a life he lived in, he admired his father basically bc he didn't know him. He clearly values common ppl over monarchy, he knows royalty is not heaven sent, he knows they're all made of flesh and blood. That's his character. You dislike him bc of it, love him bc of it :v
