Just finished watching all episodes. Definitely my type of drama. Light, funny, no unnecessary drama, and relatively safe to watch with your whole family (you know some dramas are a bit "dangerous" for children, but this one is not, you can watch it at daytime without fear of seggs scene comes in the way :p). Satoshi Ono is the perfect person to play as the main lead. He may not be that handsome, but he has this childlike features which fits in his character very well. Samejima Reiji has the most awkward and childish moves but I find it very very cute. I haven't found a cute and annoying 34 yo lead character ever since this. He reminds me a bit of Suneo from Doraemon.
In the first episode I found Akira's character to be extremely annoying but as the story progress he became funnier and funnier till the point every little comment he makes made me laugh 😄
Things that bother me until I can't sleep :D 1. Does the killer knows that Kayo is in the bus? 2. Why does the killer eventually agrees on calling child protection bureau? Am I missing something along the way?
Hahhaa definitely not fun if you watch it alone. It's chaotic in every angle, but entertaining indeed. Yuki Yamada acting is brilliant I must say. He's like this mash up version of Joker and Billy from scream. And that guy that plays Touya is very convincing too, not familiar yet with his face but I love his acting too. I'll definitely watch it again with another groups of friend. This is like your classic cult series. You know the plot, you know the ending, but you just love to repeat it 😄
I totally agree. C'mon it's entering season 7, what about Daimon's Hospital? Akira has sure made a lot of money.…
Yep. But Akira (the manager) once said that he was saving the money because he wants to build a hospital for Daimon (that's why it always goes in his pocket). I'm a loyal watcher of the series and have been patiently waiting for that to finally happen 😄
Oh my God, where have I been? I just found out that she's married to Gen Hoshino. Aaaaa, I love their chemistry so much in Full Time Wife Escapist till the point I'm hoping them to date in real life. And now I found out their actually together forever so congratssss!
I don't care about the validity of the cuisine to the french culture itself, I'm not familiar with french cuisine, and I'm just here for the drama. And I must say this is a good enjoyable drama. I love series like this, where you can just sit and relax after a long hard working hours. I love the characters, everything just so fit in. Chef Mifune is sharp but caring. Chef Shimura is cringy like an old man but funny and supportive. Kaneko is cute. But Gaku Hamada is on another level. I absolutely love love him in this series. He's the kind of waiter we all wanna meet: polite, takes notes on customer request, and dedicated to his job . His character kind of reminds me of an employee I met in a CD store once I was in Japan, he has the same face, gesture, and politeness like Gaku. Go watch. If you're a fan of dorama, I recommend this.
There has to be "game-changing" scenes in this season or else this will stagnate. I hope that " Daimon Michiko"…
I totally agree. C'mon it's entering season 7, what about Daimon's Hospital? Akira has sure made a lot of money. And until now we still haven't had the chance to dig in Daimon's character more deeply like her background, her childhood, her family, and etc. Everything was described in a vague way. I love this series so much but I need something new and fresh.
I ship her more with Tamaki, rather than Aruto. Tamaki is like the kind of guy who would love her and wait for her no matter what while Aruto seems like the kind of guy who would change later some time probably when he gets famous. And I love her with Takeuchi too because it makes more sense rather than with Aruto. Sorry, this is just my opinion haha. But yes, Yoshino is such a lovely character. Any guy would instantly fall for her *lol
I'm watching episode 6 right now and i kinda dislike the part where all the exes got bashed by those three women…
I never liked those girls since the beggining. The actress was manipulative and diva-ish. The hotel worker had complex mind, she's blaming someone who didn't notice her like wth is wrong with you girl. And Tanaka's crush actually cheated, she cheated while being in a relationship with Tanaka's best friend, so Tanaka did the right thing when he rejected her. Compare to Towako's personality those girls are nothing. And the three exes deserved to be with someone better (not those girls i mean)
Btw, I'm still on episode 4 now.
1. Does the killer knows that Kayo is in the bus?
2. Why does the killer eventually agrees on calling child protection bureau?
Am I missing something along the way?
Go watch. If you're a fan of dorama, I recommend this.
