This is a pretty good drama. Enjoyed the first four episodes. Good writing and acting.

The first episode is quite good. The quality of the script is high, the dialog makes you think. I can relate to the four leads and their individual stories. I have high hopes for the rest of the drama.

I agree that the ending is open. It is just not correct to say that Mukai kun ended up with Sakaido san. In fact it could go the other way, and Mukai could get together with Miwako again. The ending is open, and the manga writer could choose to write more volumes and have Mukai go either with Miwako, or Haru, or with somebody new - the current ending does not preclude any of these possibilities. BTW: I loved this drama. The writing is very good, the dialog is great, and the characters are very relatable.

My understanding is different. He confessed to Sakaido san, but she prefers to stay friends. She values his friendship, and she can be herself in front of him, but she does not want anything more from him.

I have seen six episodes so far, I am really enjoying the quality of the script and the story line. The writing is excellent. I am thinking of buying the manga to see what else was in there that they could not fit into the drama.

I agree. I am really enjoying this drama. Each episode is interesting, and poor Mukai gets rejected for a new and different reason each time. The dialog is witty and sustains my interest.

This is not a drama, it is something very different - more like a piece of video art. Each episode is quiet, charming, and contemplative. The scenery is gorgeous, and the female lead is very graceful. The dialog is absolutely minimal. Most of the time you just hear the sound of the trains, nature, and other ambient sounds. This has a high re-watch appeal for me.
