I agree with this so hard, i used to be so excited for the next ep and always looking forward for Sundays but now i literally feel nothing. I guess we were all really hopeful at the start and now the disappointment is settling in :/

Im completely on your side with this, honestly this whole thing along with Ji youngs character as a whole has hindered my enjoyment of the show. I know people are justifing saying that its realistic and ofc it is growing up in an asian household I've heard the sentiment myself but the bottom line is that it isn't right. It completely neglects the feelings of the victim and i would've preferred to see this sentiment be critiqued. A drama can depict a realistic situation while still disagreeing with it

loll exactly, I have a feeling they just want to keep the bl watchers happy and make sure they keep watching. I guess they still see fully committing to gl as pretty risky

I frickin loved Sam in this episode, they showed different sides to her other than just a 'cold strict boss' and I ate it up. Sam's dynamic with Kirk is amazing so far i couldn't help but laugh during some of their scenes, this kind of dynamic is really refreshing ngl I'm glad they didn't make Kirk an asshole or an obstacle to the ship. I also really appreciate that they made Mon a character with a strong backbone, she won't take anyone's shit even if it's her idol. So far the characters are extremely likable and the chemistry is off the roof. I personally don't mind any production flaws. I'm just grateful the show got made in the first place lol

I can relate so much 😭 it took me months to finish it and at some points it felt like a chore because i was watching just to get it done, not that the show was completely awful tho there were still many things that i enjoyed about it but yeah im with you on not higly recommending it

I have nothing to comment about the romance other than the fact that i am absolutely loving what the show is doing with it, i understand that its getting slow and the dialogue is getting repetitive but i am living for every moment of it, the actors chemistry really does carry the show. However i do have my qualms about the plot, i understand what the show is going for but i can't help but wish it was a bit darker in terms of how the school was portrayed, all in all the school is relatively tame so i find it hard to take the protestors seriously, especially when they're just protesting about school uniforms. If the show had displayed how extremely oppressive the school was and have the group protest against this opression and mistreatment i could've taken the protesters more seriously and it wouldve intensified the gravity of Akks actions, showing how he's willing to ignore the mistreatment in order to appease Teacher Chadok and maintain his postion and scholarship

Yesss so like when i first watched the show i got the romantic vibes coming off that scene but i just kind of brushed it off assuming it was just me but upon rewatching the show with my mom, immediately when we got to that episode she asked me later if theres a plotline about Jin Bu Yeon liking Jang Uk romantically. Kinda wish the show cleared that up lol

I agree with you so hard on this. I absolutely love the show and the two leads but i came into the drama expecting the female lead to have more of a central role. She was important and strong ofc but all her character did in the show was help further Jang uk's character. Although, Im especially excited for season two because it looks like this will be fixed and the two characters will have an equal footing and be of equal importance

dropped the show around 8 episodes in because the some of the characters and storylines were infuriating I desperately wanted to keep watching because the their chemistry is just top tier but honestly reading through the comments and knowing what's going on with the show now....yeah I'm glad I dropped it lol

I dropped it a while ago after just 5 eps, is it worth picking up again?

I don't know how I'll ever get over this drama. Even the thought of rewatching it is physically painful
