I 100% understand that one! I liked all the stories. Reading the books made it really hard to enjoy the TV shows I was watching before starting... They leave you feeling empty when you finish them. I'm just glad I found the TigerNao story and Nao's twin brother's story which has updates of all the couples in there!

Yes, It's the same story. I haven't found one that's completely finished being translated yet from Thai. This is the one I have found that has the furthest. They also said next neek they would start the next book after that which is Nao's twin brother which contains all the couples and an update on all of them.

I've read North, South & West. Just started the TigerNao story. I haven't read East yet. Might get to it, may not. The stories are addicting and when they are done it almost gives you this empty feeling of what do I do next kind of thing. Made me happy to learn there was more after the TigerNao story that continues the 5 couples by then, their story.

Any idea's what going to air next?

Actually their story started before Typhoon started university. They were childhood friends. Fah moved away for high school. Typhoon has a history of abuse since he's the child of a mistress and his dad didn't want anyone to know. Typhoon went to Chiang Mai for University knowing Fah was there. His dad found out and wanted to transfer him to another school to protect his dad's "reputation." Phoon talked his dad into staying if he stayed away from Fah. He started telling Fah he couldn't stand being around him kind of thing to make separating easier he thought. Before Typhoon started University he separated from Fah but only feels resentment and guilt, Fah doesn't like being abandoned like that and got mad and Phoon for that. When Fah picked up Phoon when he was lost, it wasn't too long after all this happened so he still kind of had hope but that didn't happen. Their story turns around in the 2nd year of university for Typhoon but it's really a sad start to their story.

In the book he tells his friends right before their 2nd year of university. So if they are following the story correct he hasn't told them yet. His friends and Fah's friends all notice the interactions between them but it's not told until after their 1st year of school is done and this is also when things start to turn around for both Fah and Typhoon as well, once he's able to open up about everything.

In the novel North is a lot more shy with Johan than in the series.

Johan is an only child, Tiger's dad is mafia and a loan shark. Johan's dad and Tiger's dad have worked together and in the Fah story Johan uses Tiger & his dad's money to take care of Typhoon's dad who was causing trouble at Fah's request.

They have a back story I explained about 2 comments down from this. They have a very sad story to start with. The 1st 10 chapters of the book will make you cry almost the entire time.

That's how it was in the book. Any HillTer appearances were from the JohanNorth story. Their story is done for the most part.

What they missed from the book is Johan bought the apartment building they were living in an evicted them out. They had also mentioned talking to them about moving them out in the book before it actually happened but it was before Johan went to Boston.

Oh and Tiger Nao have their own book. The North Story was the only time you see them in this story but they won't be together by the end of the JohanNorth story.

Yes that is correct, then there is the Tiger Duan Nao story then just found out there is another one called Owner of the North which has Duan Nao's brother in there but all the characters from the previous stories are in it as well so you get to see updates on all the characters.

It probably won't have a different director. He is self funding this series and part 2 if we get it. If you noticed the credits there aren't any sponsors at all listed for the show. He's been paying for this himself which is why I get so mad when fans go off on him about the HillTer story. Yes it went too long but this guy is literally paying out of pocket for this show to happen.

I've read the 2nd, 3rd & 4th book. The only story I didn't read was the HillTer story and I'm waiting for the TigerNao story to have more translated because it's a rather long story before I start reading that one. From the books point of view we won't see the end of their story. They are only really in the JohanNorth story and their story isn't complete there.

He likes to travel the world and try different things. It's usually on a whim from what i picked up from his stories within others and then his own. He's studying Medicine because of a promise to his mother but it's not what he wants to do with his life and it takes Dao talking to him to get him to finally follow his dreams after they get together in his 4th year of medical school.
