Yan Dan only has half of her heart left. Ying Yuan’s plan was to “evacuate” her which took a bad turn bc she won’t survive if their love for each other got exposed and received the punishment of love . As we can see the punishment is enough to kill a deity.

With Yan Dan’s power and half of her left she’d have dissipated and it’s hard to go against the supreme emperor. They’re not only rules but literally laws. As to why Ying Yuan is only helping her three days before she vanishes is because he was told that she had succeeded and only found out through her merman pal that she is still walking( I’m guessing that’s him since their voice sounded similar to him) and that was almost 900 yrs later.

He should’ve at least found time to tell her the truth so she can at least understand his side of things instead of making her misunderstand him more which he actually had at the night forgetting river. It’s a xianxia so that’s expected.

I think it’s bc he has mistaken the person but mostly also bc Yan Dan thinks her feelings aren’t being reciprocated.

I mean you literally ripped half your heart out and he’s talking about how your sister saved him and thinks that it’s her and also she witnesses how they spend time together. All this happens after he even promised her he’ll remember her.

I can now be at ease now that I’ve seen the trailer from ep 11-12. Ying Yuan knows in his heart that it’s not Zhixi who saved him that puts me at ease but still STILL there’s a misunderstanding between Yan Dan and him bc of this incident but it will get well. Let’s hope….I’ll hope at least.

I don’t like how Ying Yuan will mistake Zhixi for saving him when it was Yan Dan cuz according to the trailer we see Zhixi by Ying Yuan’s side and Yan Dan crying as she watches them and there’s also a scene where Ying Yuan takes care of someone else as she was injured( don’t know if it’s Ying Deng or Zhixi). Hopefully the misunderstanding won’t last long then again it’s a xianxia. It’s only been 7 eps and this drama already has me on the edge of a cliff. The way xianxias have a hold on me😭😭😭

I hate ongoing dramas but then again once I start I can’t stop cuz I’m already too invested.

They’ve indeed changed it but do you know why Yan Dan chose Yu Mo? What made her decide to no longer be with Ying Yuan?

I need novel spoiler about what happened bc I read somewhere that in the novel Yan Dan chose Yu Mo after many heartbreaking stuff between her and Ying Yuan.
