i do kinda agree on with you author-nim on a note.... Even though i really like all the dramas u hv given a light upon, there was something missing and u pointed it out. It really is a wonderful article. But then again it is a drama.
Why is this drama rated so highly? I find it shocking. Chinese cannot produce a serious modern drama or thriller…
I kinda agree but u should understand this is a Chinese drama. They take everything lightly, there is no Chinese drama, at least from what I know, which shows love and crime in the perfect balance. It's either one tipping the other over. Even though I couldn't figure out much due to the stupid translation and lack of access to good subtitles and quality, it was exciting to see and excitement is exactly what a viewer needs, and that's why this show has a good rating. From what I think the rating is good and perfect for this drama. The Fl, we all can agree, is strong in a sense, she at least knows what she is doing. She is better than all the annoying af characters that act like a damsel-in-distress and needs the ML to have a character development that is almost surreal.

i get wht u mean but in the end of the day, ppl r still here waiting for this drama whether or not Allen is kissing or the romance is lowkey nothing. In the end of the day, we just want the drama. Allen is a great actor, i agree but for this drama i wouldnt want him and as much as i like him i wouldnt want him in this role. When a novel like this, which is known for its romance, is adapted to a drama, an actor like Allen who has a no kissing policy is a bad choice. He could act in a different role and i would love to see him but not this drama. No matter how much i like him, i should see it in a point of view of a viewer and a reader. wht can we say but pity.
