One of the biggest shortcomings of Alchemy of Souls: Season 2 is how Wook fails to recognize Naksu’s soul despite her new appearance. Instead, he seems to fall for "the new-faced Naksu" as if he has completely moved on from the original. This undermines the essence of a rebirth storyline, where the emotional core should be the deep, unshakable connection—an instinctive recognition of a lost love, no matter how much their form has changed. The series misses the opportunity to evoke that poignant sense of longing and reunion, making the romance feel less impactful than it should have been.
I am wondering… should i start this and the most important question is: IS THERE A ROMANCE?
There’s romance, but not the steamy kind—it’s the kind that gives you butterflies. Super sweet, full of noona romance vibes. Forget about kissing, no skinship at all, but the chemistry is absolutely off the charts!
I'm on episode 8 and this feeling of boredom...Should I keep going? Will it get more captivating?
I think you will still feel bored until the last episode. That's what happened to me, I was stuck on episode 27 since 6 months ago and haven't been able to continue until now.
I think the story idea is quite interesting, because it was written by a popular and talented novelist. The main lead are great, but the execution of the drama is a bit less interesting, coupled with bad acting from several extra actors.

Did you guys give a low rating just because the ending was not to your liking?
