Some things changed and some didn't. Even though her mom died, she got her grandmother, her mom's brother and his daughter and their friends...lead a life. She changed wu shan's fate too( as he supposed to die early in past life) by saving his life & giving a life advice and also song mo's fate and side characters fate too...it may be little thing but it is making huge difference as things goes by. Same goes for song mo's uncle, even though he died they were able to save song mo's uncle's family and their clan.

Yes, it is good...atleast for me. So far, ep 10 is fav for many reasons, what a twist.

Omg!!! I'm late to the party. I didn't think I would enjoy this drama but I'm loving it. I watched all the episodes released upto now in one go!!!. All these complex characters, the change in their path, their decisions as episodes goes by is very intriguing.
I think some people in comments ....either they watched without understanding the characters/ plot or skipped some scenes. Anyway I'm excited for upcoming episodes 😊.

I loved this movie!!! I don't know why many are thinking that it has sad ending, for me it is happy ending. There is no way she doesn't know he is behind her, there is not much distance too and he is free while walking. I think he is giving space to her because she is talking to her troubled student. Also he looked straight into cam, not like in past where he hide his face...like now there is no need to hide anymore. I think 'used to be' sentence is used while teaching because she is thinking their troubled and hard past while she is staring at her troubled student and we do like that when we think about our hard past. Whatever maybe I definitely believe she does know he is walking behind her. It is more like happy /open ending for me. I will definitely re-watch the movie again. This movie is now one of my favorites 😍.

Edit : P.s: even though I didn't read the whole novel but I checked the novel ending (epilogues), indeed it is a happy ending, they stayed together after the jail release.

I think that they are looking at eachother because they know princess believed it, not because physician dying. Just my opinion

Yes, even I feel sympathy for her but choosing to take action against innocent people...torturing, abusing & killing them is... that's where I draw a line.

It's ok to pity her but it's not ok to kill all the innocent people all along.

Also did you notice, she was suffocated & vomiting when she was wearing her ex coat, as soon as coat was taken off & duke by her side she was relaxed again

Yes, it was implied like that the affair started before he tried to kill her, remember that ornament princess was wearing & how she casually went to him when fl was waiting for him outside.

Yes that bamboo flute represents their past, moreover how can he so sure that she would be conscious and alive? he never came to check to see her alive/dead until after 2-3 months suddenly after seeing jl he went to check, there is no indication that he was happy to see her alive nor he defended that he left her a chance. If you all see early episodes then he clearly went from 'kill her' to 'shocked/ freaked out' to 'nightmares/guilty' to 'trying to save his ass/ denial/ making upto her'. If he really did intend to leave a way out then above stages wouldn't occur nor would he be feeling guilty like this.

For me they have enough scenes together in this 30-31 ep and they have individual scenes too. The story both individually (fl
&ml)& together scenes are good. They had enough scenes together last episodes going along with the plot. Having 9 episodes left is good. I know its not everyone cup of tea for this kind of story.

Duke su is reluctant long ago even before the plan has ever started. The use of 'pawn' is just a play word they both use, it's like they both are willingly help each other with their goals...it's like this between them since long ago. They both trust eachother with their lives.

He is sad/ having nightmares because he is feeling guilty and after that things are not like what he wanted. It's like he wanted to make it up to her/her look like (jl) for what he did to her(xff).

I know you meant well but relax. The relationship is already higher level with this situation, they are already a unofficial couple. They can only get openly couple after some things. Since the beginning we know it's a revenge drama. I know they have so much chemistry that's why you think it could be more romance central but with the things are in the situation, the unofficial couple is best option. Personally I really like this pacing. What's done is done, if you are going to think about what is already done, you won't be able to enjoy the show . So relax and enjoy the ride

The bamboo stick he thrown there because that represents their feelings, like he abandoned everything about her. Moveover he freaked out and went to check out when he saw jiang li for the first time (that too after few months), he never thought she would be alive. I think it's pretty obvious with his reactions when he saw her for the first time after everything...he didn't expect her to alive and he was kinda in denial stage and even the thought for her alive is freaking him out.

We will see how it goes. I think they will change the schedule again. So don't worry😊

Yes, I don't think 36 as end because they didn't mark 36 as end but they put end mark for another drama. So I'm thinking they will air last 4 episodes on another week
