I don't believe fl's accusations shouldn't work because at present all know that xue father was accused wrongly, if they reveal everything atmost they all will be accused including princess, shen & fl, investigating occur for both sides and rumors will fly fast. Moveover he himself told princess if he revealed all will ne implicated, he doesn't want that and princess also agreed, so now if he revealed how the princess going to back him up?? Fl have her own witness too her maid, other people back in where real jl is there, now xue father clearing name ... atmost they all will be implicated. In novel fl soul got transferred to another body, you will see his true colors. In drama they are showing he is feeling guilty, that's why he is trying to makeup to her in a way but there is no going back.

If it makes you easier then think it as they are divorced..basically divorcing means partner(s) no longer want to get bounded/cut ties. This applies to fl because she cut ties with him/ doesn't even want to get bounded.

I think we have to ignore it. In our tradition too, soul get bounded when they marry but if male/female dies people will still remarry. I guess we have to take 'he tried to kill her' as 'divorce'.

He did not expose her because he would be forced to admitted his crimes and bringing more problems to himself, you should have read the novel...you will understand it more...basically he doesn't care for anyone, he only cares about status and reputation.

That doesn't meant he is not guilty...he is beyond redemption. Imagine us being on fl's place and our partner did the same thing. Fl has every right to hate him. There are ways to avoid it but he didn't think and didn't hesitate to kill the same day. He has to pay for his actions

I think she will lead her life as JL rather than XFF, I don't know but its never a problem in novel because her soul got transformed. I think leads will get married before he goes to war. I saw a spoiler that her ex will ask her to marry him again. I guess we have to think that she cut the marriage when her ex tried to kill her
