But why are they complaining though? Is the drama airing in channel like they need specific time to start & end to continue other drama? But if it is airing in apps like youku, I believe they don't need specific time to end for another drama to air. I'm confused.

Personally I like that XFF living as JL in name & taking her identity rather than soul transformation or reincarnation( though I love those genres too). For me the drama storyline is unique

I think there is lot of 'read between lines'...SYR swings here & there. Personally I think he is more leaning towards that 'she is not JL' and he is in denial stage. I think we will confirm in future.

At this point they both fallen for eachother and they both know it but they never explicitly said it and they are not together yet. Romance is slow burn but you will see the flirting & tension since beginning. Their initial relationship went from 'co-operation' to 'looking out for eachother & tacit understanding' mix with 'attraction & flirting with eachother' to 'eventually love'.

In drama, it is slightly implied that affair started before they tried to kill her...remember that ornament princess was wearing at her waist. But they never explicitly showed that the affair started or not before, so I'm not sure about this. They never showed much of past.

No, in the novel they don't look similar at all, never implied & compared like that and also having feelings for ml is nothing to do with ex...also OP is talking about drama and OP thinks they look alike in the drama. It's clear in the drama & novel that they don't look alike , they didn't even compared too and fl never thought like that.

She told him 'she is not jiang li' and he replied 'I know ' but she didn't told him she 'fang fei' but I think he already knows. She knows that he know. Remember when she is playing Qin instrument and how ml looked at shen guy and saying about revenge too to fl, he already knows and her father rescue and he overheard the conversation too...and she called xue as father..and she didn't even hiding to at this point. But she didn't explicitly said to her.

They are both completely different persons , faces and even their personalities are different lol. She having feelings for ML is nothing to do with ex . Did you even watched the series ? Are we even seeing same series? How they are developing feelings is clear to the viewers who are watching. She never said they look alike & never implied like that in the series & novel too and having feelings is nothing to do with her ex lol. This is not true at all. He knows...remember how he is glaring and commenting ex-husband shen when fl is playing Qin instrument in competition. Especially with the whole father rescue. He just wants her to admit to him...He knows who fl is but I don't know if he knows what happened to real jiang li.

According to trailer both ml and fl seems to be married together. Even though I haven't read the novel but novel readers said it's a happy ending.

Exactly, she is doing very good job as step mother. In fact I'm loving almost all the cast. Even that princess. Almost all are doing excellent with their roles.

I always wondered where I have seen jiang li's step mother because she seems familiar to me. Until I got suddenly clicked like 'isn't the actress is Joe Chen!?' . She is famous actress in Taiwan right. I remembered I saw her drama 'fated to love you'.

In novel, xiao fang fei is( fl) 19 and duke su (ml) is 24 and jiang li is 15. This is the starting ages in the novel, they age as times goes by because everything took time.

Ps: drama is different from novel, in novel Fl soul is transferred to jiang li's body. But in drama there is soul transformation, fl just taken jiang li's name when real jiang li died. In drama there is no mentions of ages, it is indeed bit different from novel. In both novel & drama, real jiang li died.

No, if he hoped like you said..that's not the reaction & action he is giving...instead he freaked out when he thought she might be alive. He really intend to kill her. Next thing is that he is not even happy at the thought she might be alive, he wanted to make sure she is dead, that's why he went to her grave to check it. Moveover he only went to grave when he saw jiang li before that he never went to check (if he hoped like you said). Even if he hated princess for it but that doesn't mean he hoped fl is alive when he killed her. So no, he never hoped her to be alive ( or never gave a way to her comeback) when he intend to kill her, its the choice he choosed .

Even at the starting I never had sympathy for him, he choosed his life, his achievements and his family over fl's life when he decided to kill her. I will never forgive him. Remember he only got haunted because of the thought she resemble fl, before that he was fine. Maybe sad at first but he got used to it and now he is freaking out because of thought she might be alive, even to check her grave. So, atleast I feel no sympathy.
