His mother abandoned him. Of course he would have hard feelings. He loved her and missed her desperately, but…
Why did he bother look for her at all then? He should have forgotten about her long ago. But when he finally got answers he didn't seem to care. I would have expected some relief or emotion that she didn't willingly desert him. It's weirder that his father didn't call her back once he gained power and influence. So if anyone's to blame, it's the dad.
There are some more things that didn't make sense to me. Gu Won was desperate to find out about his mother and when he did, he didn't care. I would have thought that knowing she was forced to leave in order to protect him would have melted his heart. Then when he met her he was so harsh. If he hadn't gone back and hugged his mother, I would have completely written him off. I could see him doing the same to Sarang if they ever broke up in the future. Sarang probably is not breaking up with Gu Won. It's either a joke or it's related to her job as few others suspect. The timing is just too weird. 1 episode left and they probably just want to create some kind of suspense. They have also completely forgotten about the marriage arrangement of Gu Won with 0 follow up or repercussions.
You can look at her fellow member Jennie and get your answer. Regrettably, dating remains "scandalous", particularly…
The agencies creating this image are basically unleashing a ticking time b*mb because when you allow fans to imagine that any of these male idols can be your boyfriends, potentially, it will only blow up when the idols do get involved romantically. I am surprised that fans are offended to the point they are asking for the EXO member's removal. Is this more specific to knetz or the feeling is mutual among international fans?
Money She earned her monthly salary for one evening in a dated uniform. In company attire, they can remain invisible…
Yes, considering she is good at a job, the plate drop was a bit unbelievable. And then she said she didn't expect his family to necessarily approve of her. I guess this was an attempt at creating drama which didn't really work well. The drama is all right though. I don't have too many issues with it. There are certain storylines I would have liked to see explored a bit more but it's too late for that. I still have 2 episodes to catch up on.
If you're not easily scared watching horror movies, not scary at allIf you're not used to watching scary movies,…
Hi! Thanks. :) Can you compare it to Revenant as you've also watched it. I didn't find Revenant scary except maybe a couple of scenes which were creepy.

Unless the translation was a miss, they were appreciating the outfits at the beginning. They didn't speak about the money at all. And Sarang was told that the highest a staff can go is to be part of the Dream Team without actually explaining what it entails. This is a light romance drama so we know they won't depict anything horrible happening but if this was a thriller, there would be some kind of fishy business involved that starts out the same way. There are so many sexual harassment cases in the workplace itself without the staff having to sign an NDA. That's why I found this segment awful because the premise is dangerous and sad because the staff is only doing this faithfully because they must need the money. I wish they had found another way to inform Sarang about the whole marriage planning which I think was the whole point of this plot.
Exactly, but I'm glad the FL and ML talked about this.
Yeah same. I just don't buy that the entire staff felt proud about what they were actually being hired to do. And the NDA made it even more shady. That's how you get your rights violated but it's fortunate that they didn't. At the very least, the staff should have some idea what they will be doing rather than simply calling it a "Dream Team". I would think Sarang would have a bigger problem with this than when she got propositioned by the guy in the tiger shirt. She seems to have mellowed out. lol.
Having the staff dress as maids at the Gu household was so distasteful. I didn't understand them looking at those outfits and feeling excited. It was also the most outdated cliched plot in a rich man poor woman type drama. The last time I saw something like that was Boys Over Flowers. I'm surprised they went this route. Dream Team is such a misnomer. Why would the family even need this dream team? Don't they have regular staff trained for these occasions?

Yes, I was thinking about how armies, for example, would feel if they heard of BTS members dating considering how large their fan base is. There was a rumour related to V recently and I saw some mean comments directed at them. It would actually be scary for any female celeb to be involved with a male idol because of the image this industry creates for them. There is an article mentioning a few knetizens even saying Ahn Bo Hyun is not at Jisoo's level which I found absurd. Still it was not as bad. Although I don't know what the general Korean population thinks of relationships like these. I imagine it's not easy for any celeb over there based on some of the things you get to read on social media and how cautious their companies are when releasing a statement.
