Well, hopefully they can understand her predicament. The mother is being so unreasonable. If anyone deserves hate, it's the mother! She's suffocating. When she barged into the FL's house, I was yelling, "change the locks/door code!". XD

He's being selfish because he wants her. He felt a connection with her because of how suffocating his mother was and he finally wasn't alone. Then when he sees his foster sister and that she might ditch the family, he thinks, why not ditch them to be with him then? It's absurd since she was never in love with him and she considered him her brother. I guess he'll change tracks sooner or later and both siblings will rebel against their mother.

She's in such a difficult situation. She doesn't want to lose her mother nor the man she loves and she doesn't know how to reconcile those differences. I can feel her pain. Even the analogy that she made of the beast and the trainer. She knows she is more independent now but even with that, she can't just leave her family. Most people in these situations have to choose between one and the other and for the longest time they keep swinging back and forth. It's a very true to life story. It's actually a breath of fresh air since both leads are adults dealing with real life problems. That's the beauty of it.

I do feel a bit bad for him considering the circumstances.

Yes, I can see why it happened. Plus he was the only child so he got quite attached to her. And he was old enough to know she's not his real sister even if he tried to treat her that way.

Did anyone notice that Xu Qin's mother's family name is Meng and Song Yan's dog's name is also Meng? I wonder if she inspired the name. 😂

I totally wouldn't mind if Min Ki was Ju Won's lover in the past. He's giving SML syndrome anyway. And I'd love for there to be a second season just to resolve this angle.

He had to cause a minor collision so not full impact/full speed. But he could not brake so it ended up worse than what could have been. When they showed his discussions with the loan shark, they never said he needs to kill someone. But he doesn't feel any guilt over the accident at all. At the end of the day, he was merely used and was happy to get his loan written off.

She certainly knows how to get his attention. :P

I can't believe this is ending in 4 episodes. I'm not ready to let go! I have been loving every moment of this!

Do people like the mother exist? 100%! Parents rejecting the ones their kids actually like is a huge thing in most of Asia. haha. Many Asian adults still have their marriages arranged and parents play a huge role in picking their partners for them. Since the FL's family is rich, them wanting a rich groom is also very typical. If they were not rich, but educated, then they'd want a highly educated groom with a good salary.

As for falling in love with a foster/step sibling - frankly, I've only read about it happening in some places in the US where there are so many more broken families. It's still rare. Not sure how these writers thought this up but they've introduced another female character now. So he will probably fall for her even though she doesn't meet his mother's standards either. XD

Though the story is unfolding slowly, I'm enjoying the realism of the emotions by both ML and FL. Especially when the FL got drunk and vented to the ML and he was terrified that she'll actually give up on him. Ooof! I felt them both on such a deep level.

Wait, so Meng Yan Chen, Xu Qin's foster brother, is actually in love with her?

Which one? Did you mean Sarang's boyfriend in the first few episodes?

Gu Won asking permission to kiss Sarang? Okay, I loved that! Didn't know it but I need more of that!

Okay, that plot twist came out of nowhere. I will certainly remember this drama. Still curious about that ending! Fun watch nonetheless!

Can't tell if this will be interesting. Hoping a trailer drops soon.

Can't believe IMDB gave this movie a 4.4. I thought it would be terrible but it's a decent film. Maybe the story could have been fleshed out a bit more.
