What a beautiful show! It might just be 1 episode in but they have my attention! Love the story and presentation already. Really wholesome! I'm excited to continue this series. I hope more people give it a try.

Absolutely! I'm positive it'll fetch more viewers. Plus many people don't like waiting week to week and prefer to watch once all episodes are out. The rating will adjust over time. And it being a Netflix show means there is a chance it will trend on Netflix itself.

No doubt about it. I'm glad we see both the actresses who are playing Naksu. Both are well-suited to the roles they are portraying.

That just gives Uk and Naksu some much needed time to train. I'm going to guess some spying on them will be involved by Jin Mu's men.

That is what makes me it might be a sad ending because it would be the same problematic thing as the king and the mage switching bodies and the king being with the mage's wife. One of the souls has to perish. It is giving me Hotel Del Luna vibes where Naksu finally moves on. Of course I'm still hopeful for a good/happy resolution.

I have had second lead syndrome right from the first episode. I am getting the feeling Alchemy of Souls is going to have a sad ending considering she lost her body and is in the body of another. Love the effects and the story so far. I just wish we didn't have to wait every week to watch more. This show is addictive! Well done to the whole cast. It's filled with many interesting characters adding to the drama! If it stays on this path, I will give a final rating between 9 - 10.

I am genuinely enjoying Alchemy of Souls. I don't think we need to worry about the rating. Not everyone watching the show is on MDL. As the show goes on, more people will hear about it and consider watching it. I had given it a preliminary rating of 8 after the 1st episode and increased it to 9 after the 2nd. I enjoyed the 3rd as well. Good comedic elements even if the CGI wasn't as much as the 2nd. Once the show completes and the reviews are posted, people will have a better picture of the series in order to decide if it's worth watching or not. And those who have an issue with something with the show, it defeats your purpose if you insult people/religion/ethnicity. If anything, less people will want to watch cdramas because of it. You are hurting your own cause.

Muslims irrespective of race use Arabic names. This is not called stealing. It is tradition to use names with good meaning even if it is not in Arabic. Even Christians and other non-Muslims tend to use Muslim/Arabic names in other cultures. Muslims default to Arabic because it is the language of the Quran.
